Honestly I hope they just update the animations for literally everything from what they've been doing which is literally just touching up the animations they have been reusing since Demon Souls

Like legitimately if you know anything about the game naraka bladepoint, you would know that from the way the combat flows is almost like aversion of from soft-style combat where there's only two attack inputs of either your vertical attack or your heavy attack and you can charge these by March and get what it's called Blue Focus which does make the attack parriable but also gives you hyper armor to power through other light attacks within your standard style of Dodge attacks and jumping attacks I'm really in general it just emphasizes how good from soft combat could be if they just finally would stop reusing the same damn animations

I will say though the thing I love the most about the light Greatsword is the fact that it's idle animations actually look good as hell from the running and walking to just the general way it's held while one handed really shows that they need also stop with the constantly making one-handed weapons be held with two hands so weirdly an idiotically as if they were just fucking cardboard tube swords I just have it so if you two had a weapon, you put away the other weapon and some of your attacks and abusing two hands during the attack for added power

This is how greatswords should've been with ultra greatswords being used the way greatswords are. I wish we had light curved greatswords as well. Having kriegsmessers, swiss sabers, and two-handed falchions,especially the French two-handed falchion, would've been awesome.

In my opinion, after a lot of testing (also using bleed build), I feel like the two handed moveset to be better than powerstancing. Less stamina hungry, the speed of two handing is still really fast, and putting on the two handed sword talisman lets it compete with the powerstancing moveset in terms of damage.

Great video, but theres 2 guard counters. With shield, and the sword itself. Guard counter with sword is unique. It hits 2 times but you can add another input making it 3 hits. The animation is also unique

You are very underrated

Very elegant motions, has a Chinese swordart vibe. Especially with one winged stance.

I don't know why, but the two handed moveset reminds me of the sword attacks from The Witcher 3. Am I crazy, or do others think the same?

​​@@BasedBebs yeah, just too bad they put such cool kind of weapon in a dlc where every mob and bosses are as hardcore and unfair as malenia and who almost one shot you (if not one shot you straight) at the tiniest mistake. if that's the direction from software take now, then i don't think they will hang on more than few years because when you start doing dlc difficulty way too far to catered only to the loud minority of hardcore tryhard from your playerbase and basically spit at the face of the big majority who just play normally (who use everything the game give them to help instead of play for the sake of doing level 1 run without annything,... to boost their egoes and denying that in real life they're just one ordinary person between billions of other ordinary persons who don’t care about their "exploit") then that majority will leave the game.

One more thing. You’re probably planning to do this anyways possibly videos with the shields ( the ones that actually matter of course), bows, ashes of war, sorceries and incantations (maybe you could do a showcase of the staffs and catalysts too same way you’re doing for this in the spell videos). And of course the remaining weapon types But I recommend doing a “Other Weapons” video. Which includes torches, the tools like the wraith summoners and ancestor infant’s head, ammunition (arrows and bolts), throwing pots (which are like grenades and bombs), throwing knives (not the weapon type the consumable type), throwing stones (namely the ones like the poisoned, explosive, Glintstone, gravity crystal, and others), perfume bottles (also a consumable variation to not get confused with the weapon type), and greases (elemental imbuemants for your weapons). There’s even a throwing spear “Dragon Hunter Harpoon” or something along those lines. You do a video like that along with the others you plan to make, this series you’re working on will be picture perfect. Only things I don’t recommend you do videos on are the other consumable items and spirit ashes because videos on those will take forever. In short my biggest recommendation which is quite clear, is videos on anything thats considered a weapon, combat skill, or spell in this game. Which you’re probably already doing but I thought you should hear it. Also I looked at the Elden Ring Wiki page and some weapon type lists I’ve noticed are really small like the light great sword. There’s one where there’s literally only one weapon in the whole list. I may recommend you do a two weapon types video if it gets to that point. But this one is good. Great start too. So you don’t have to delete this one to make a bigger one with this footage thrown in. I’m not making you do nothing. It’s your channel so it’s the choices you make that matters.

@@sykioh I usually look at each weapon individually until I find differences in the moveset. As for the item weapons take a look through the “items” section it’s got everything on the bolts, arrows, throwing pots, throwing stones, throwing knives, throwing spears, combat tools, perfumes, and greases just look under “Ammunition”, “Tools” (which is both in weapons and items), and “Consumables” they’re there. And the reason I recommend making a shield, bow, and one staff video is because they have special skills and ashes of war you can add to them. Also each weapon has a special combo move in the description below and in the stats it has the name of the unique skill near the bottom. Those items like the knives and perfumes were items before they made a weapon type variation for the DLC.

@@sykioh I forgot to mention that ashes of war are special moves you add to weapons that Don’t have unique skills. In other words these are skills that are common and customizable. Unique skills are one of a kind and cannot be changed. And I recommend you showcase the staffs in the Sorcery video namely the Carian Regal Scepter because it’s the only one with a unique skill. And the catalysts in the Incantation video.

Honestly I consider Wing Stance to be Milady’s unique skill. Simply because it’s the only Light Greatsword that can apply Ashes of War… and Wing Stance can only work on Light Greatswords haha

For the armor set, you need to complete Sir Ansbach's questline and summon him in the final battle. After the fight, you can loot his entire set of equipment.

If only they did a more robust amount of stance damage, I would be more apt to use these

I kinda like the one handed strikes, but in some cases like jump heavy, the two handed strikes faster, and obviously deal more damage than one handed.

If my Elden Ring video doesn't attract many views, I might consider exploring some well-known titles in my next video. I think I most likely will continue to finish all the Elden Ring DLC weapons.
