Didn’t realize that the chest piece for messmer’s set was a solid scale mail because the entire time my character’s belly has, apparently, been clipping through parts of it so it’s been messmer’s croptop

Rakshasa armor is genuinely the Alonne knights (samurai/ninja ones from the molten zone) armor from DS2:SotFS. I like it!

​@@TREVORVADER Same, but I'm glad there was any to begin with. FromSoft's been putting katanas in their medieval RPGs since King's Field and Elden Ring's the first one to have armor to go with it. Love the White Reed set, personally.

From Soft be like: "This is one of the most visually appealing sets we've ever made. Give it a 0.01% drop rate and make only a single enemy drop it but only if its wednesday past 3pm during a hurricane"

My only complaint about the Armor of Night is that we don't have a Mace of Night. Totally Sauron

Absolute favorite set is the Death Knight set. I was playing as a dragon warrior and then became a dead one with lightning incants and Dragon Communion incants with the Flowerstone Gavel, Dragon Katana, and Igon's Bow. Feels so good

9:00 My personal favorite. None of the armor sets in the game have ever truly appealed to me until now.

im using messimers set for a pyromancy light equip load build rn, can really feel the breeze.

The Horned Warrior chestpiece is amazing, it became my main fashion

Ansbach's and Rakshasa's sets are my favorites in this DLC

notice how much armor sets show the feet

I actually think the shadow militia chest piece in particular looks fuckin rad especially paired with other rogue-esque pieces, or even just well paired heavier pieces, and if nothing else throw on the Black Hood because that shit goes well with damn near anything especially roguey fits.

Im torn between DS2 and 3 because some of my favorite sets in 2 went over to 3, but still 2 I think has more in total that I genuinely like than 3 does, but even though there are fewer that I vibe with I like those few in 3 aesthetically more. So it’s a tie for those reasons for me

That Black Knight armor needs a cape... Why Fromsoft? Why did you do this to is? Only knight armor without cape...

I see the Berserk vibe people talk about with Solitude armor but I really want the hardcore lookalike vibe. Maliketh was close but not quite there. I get it’s not within copyrights but I bet the Berserk writer that took over would allow a closer lookalike in memory

That’s only for the chest, the head is dropped by another of those enemies somewhere lower down, it’s on the wiki

no. im also kinda disappointed. was hoping for more cloak options or something brighter. in the end i didnt change anything from my outfit except a new weapon and a shield for style since its worse than my previous one. but ppl be running around with the chickenleg and a pot on their head with green skin and purple hair and then say everything is pretty without ever wearing anything, so dont mind the yes seagulls

The only one I like is the black knight. Maybe the oathseeker too. And the divine beast might be a ok when combined with other pieces, like the scaled gloves and boots. But imo, the base game armor sets are better. I was hoping there was at least one medium armor set somewhat as good looking as the knight and carian knight sets. Traditional full plated knight armors are so cool. I really miss the faraam and elite knight sets from dark soul's games...
