@@TheEmilarOMG I had 100 hours played before I even knew about the moon queen boss let alone the rest of the hidden paths and stuff. I love this game and I think it's the best game I've played in forever but it's not really noob friendly and there's just no way to know about some of this stuff unless your also a souls fan who's been playing thoer games which I'm not. Point is it shouldn't matter how you play. If you need help to find stuff then go and use help if not then don't. I myself wanna find everything so I need help. You ain't gonna find everything all alone agleast not for a long time lol

There are so many things I look up because I wanted to understand the game and figure out quests. Now knowing as much as I know I love the game and the hardships of cursing the monitors out and spiking my controller when I beat a very much hated Boss! It sounds insane sure... but now I play on keyboard and mouse... nothing to spike. We adjust and overcome... even joysticks or controllers lmao!

I'm on my 4th playthrough, over 600 hours in-game, probably a good 20 of those hours or more have been spent in Stormveil Castle alone, finding all the secret paths and talismans and everything, and I still have to look up how to reach this damn tower every damn time lol

ok so for those who are really struggling with the balistas and you have a spare stonesword key, at 0:14 if you go all the way to the door infront, to the right(not in the actual door it's outside it) there's a basement with like 4 rats, behind them it's veiled area requiring a stonesword key to open, that leads to the entrence of the castle but behind the balista where you can kill them from behind

I've beaten Godrick, yet the door is still "tightly shut." Waddu Hekk Edit: I have no idea what caused it, but the door suddenly became intractable around the time I killed Radahn and Rennella. Weird?

Thank you! I see a lot of players in the comments wanting an EASY mode. There's a way to get to the platform where the fire arrow dudes are. You'll know you're heading in the right direction when you see a silver knight and another but with an exiled hood on. I skipped them and they eventually stop chasing you.

That's actually not true. As a squishy mage, forcing my way through like that was impossible. So I snuck in by jumping rooftops onto the palissade that gives access, through a bridge, to the ballisticians.

@@darkiway idek what you're talking about when you say "impossible". I probably took the long way from the lift gate entrance, but you're still going to the same place I went to which was the platforms with the ballista dudes.

I am new to the entire souls genre - However I have watched my friend play for countless hours, and watched many videos. Elden Ring is my first - and quite enjoyable BTW!!! - Journey through a souls style game by myself. One thing that always made me laugh is how ridiculous a lot of details and designs are in these games. I mean check out the character in the video.. Godricks badass axe.... an epic shield.... andddd BARE FUCKING FEET LMAO!

Seems to be the Axe you can get with Godrick's Remembrance. Don't know about the other gear though.

Now how do you activate it?! Can someone please explain what great runes and rune arcs are used for? I can't seem to find this info anywhere. I've sold some rune arcs and now finding out i might need them. I'm completely new to this game and I'm tired of losing 60k or more runes back to back. It's freakin discouraging. I've bought the sacrificial twig but you just never excpect who's gonna kill you on the way to pick up your lost runes. I'm trying not to quit i never quit games but Man I've stopped having fun already and i have sites of grace everywhere, whole map is almost exposed but I'm lost af. It seems every boss i run into now just kills me in 1 strike. I'm level 70 btw.

What do you do afterwards

There's a far superior path in the castle that brings you to the top of all the ballistas and you can kill the guys operating them before dropping down to the pathway you took, and I was hoping this video would show that path.

So my only issue is I was unable to tank a hit? LoL good to know

Those 3 golems are so easy to kill. 2 charged heavy attacks knocks them down then do a special on the chest when they fall. 2 of these and the ones with axes die. 1 of these and the archer dies. 4k runes a run takes 2 mins

That is the 'Chapel of Anticipation' where you started and ran into the Grafted Scion. You get there thru a transporter at the 'Four Belfries' in Liurnia. This is one of tho paths to get the blood on the cloth for Varre's quest. The other being Church of Inhibition, where you get invaded by Vyke.

I found a fun little trick against the golems. When the archer shoots at you, hide behind one of the melee golems. one or two arrows of the archer makes the golems fall over. Then you just have to attack the fallen golems chest (has a glowing spot) for a nice ammount of damage. And the archer has less health than the melee golems :)

You dont really need a trick for the arrows. One arrow barely does any damage, so you can tank it and run under him until he fires the second one. If you want you can kill the archer or just run under and get to the waygate (since for some reason, his stomps are delayed and he is still stomping when you reach the waygate)

I found it!!! For some reason on some peoples consoles the portal spawns farther down the bridge, walk to the edge of the bridge and get to the very end(the broken part of the bridge) and it should be at the very bottom

You go to that weirdo that asks if you want to go through the front or through the secret way and just tell you want to go through the front gate. He’s to the left of the gate if you are coming from Margit.

There is an option to "wear" the rune that godrick drops. Try equipping it and opening the door? Maybe it's like a key you wear giving your character the ability to open the door? Just opened the door and it"s the only thing I can think of. Hope it works!

@@AngelRamirez-bi3yx you dont need to equip it, to open the door. If it is in your inventory, then you can open the door. Once you are up the tower and activated it, you can then equip it.

I've had about a thousand super important glitches like this dude. I don't have most of the good weapons in the game despite me following exact instructions. All sorts of things simply do not exist in my game for no reason

Go to the roundtable and speak to the hunched man surrounded by books. He'll tell you all of your next targets and locations at this point.

@@DeezNuts-zx3ih yeah you have to use a rune arc to get the effects. They cost 4k from vendors and they only last till you die the next time. Kinds sucks it isn't a permanent effect, but I could see it coming in handy for a boss or something

You have to go to a site of grace to equip a great rune then you can use rune arcs to upgrade the great rune equipped

There's a square platform that you need to stand on and it will go back down. its not a lever.

@@surenot4362 All elevators have switches that take it up and down once they're open. If not, they wouldn't have made the elevators stay in the same place they were when you left/died.

Take it down again. There is a switch on the floor to get it down, before you step on the elevator
