Can you explain why you didn't to show the route not including the spawn, just you in a random location?

You do not need to go that full dangerous rooftop route, you can work your way across the roofs and drop down safely above the guys with the ballistas rather than go through the Knights and stuff. You don't even need to fight the guys on the roof before scaling the buildings as you can just jump over and they won't follow. This saves so much time, health and flasks for when you need them. You should really make a follow up to this video showing the proper route for that

You don’t have to do any of that. The courtyard with a ton of soldiers and 1 troll, go there. Find outdoor stairs that lead down to the archway with 3 guards back turned. Straight through and entrance is on the left. Watch the lion in the bushes.

If you’ve got the speed you don’t need the long path or stonesword key. Get the npc to open the gate and sprint right, there’s a grace almost immediately

@@stevenross-watt8640 there's a grace on both side, the one on the right is the one on the bridge that leads to the huge divine tower.

Finally! I’ve been banging my head trying to figure out where to go for this.

Hate when they do that. Take this path to the right but doesn’t show where to go. Would be a 4sec clip.

you have to use a Rune Arc whenever you want to get the effects of the great rune (e.g. giga Buff until you die)

The easiest way is if you exit from Rampart Tower grace, head out, to the right, run-jump to the roof across and below, and then jump on to the small stone ledge to your forward left. Hug that ledge and keep going until you finally drop to the area around 1:51 in the video

@@ungabungacaveman9021 you equip it and it does almost nothing until you use rune arcs, this goes for all of them, think of this as being embered or reversing hollowing.

It does nothing until you use a rune arc its a new death mechanic if you die you have to use another arc to get the bonus its like hollowing or effigys but for bonus stats

Using a rune arc with the great rune equipped is closer to embering in dark souls 3 but with a choice of effects

@@FijianSouljah1312 Lets be honest, a lot of them are garbage. They could at least have a little more health. If you don't go in underleveled you are flooring most side bosses in this game. Bloodborne dungeons bosses could take a hit.

It's complicated. It's in the tower on the east of Liurnia : "Carian Study Hall", however, to be able to active the rune, you need to find the Carian Inverted Statue to drop on the pedestal in the entrance, to get that item, you need to give Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade, which is ...in Nokron, so much later into the game.

Looked up this guide but then continued playing, brute forced my way to the main gate from the grace next to godrick fight, killed the dog and found it myself!

this video is wrong using rune arc doesn't make it stronger. It just activates it.

Confused as to why for option 1 you said to start the the Rampart Tower grace site and not the Stormveil Gate grace which just requires you to run around the corner to the Limgrave Tower Bridge. It’s a super short route and also doesn’t require a stonesword key

When you get to the ballistas if you go to the front gate of the castle on the right there is a grace so then you don’t have to do this horrible run again.

The video is inaccurate. The great rune doesn’t do *anything* unless you activate a rune arc. They are analogous to humanity in the dark souls games.

Easiest grace (bonfire) to go from is the ‘lift side chamber’ - you can run straight out and to the end, then left, keep running down (roll at the bottom so you can get smashed with arrows) and then bank left to get the new site of grace in the video. Then follow the video from there 👍

you dont have to fight if you are struggling with that you can run past most of the enemies

Killing a boss as a coop player will give you an arc every time as well.

Someon oughta pin this, just go to Ramparts, down small lift in the corner, through room with 7 armed monster you killed and the huge painting of Godrick, make left to enter the courtyard with all the soldiers and big bows aimed at the door and 1 troll. From there look for the outside narrowish stairs that lead down to an archway and out the gate. Get past the lion and the entrance is on the left. Can’t miss it.
