I’m still in disbelief this is real. When Bandai Namco asked me to make an animation for Elden Ring I gave a big resounding yes. The Souls series is so incredibly close to my heart. It’s also crazy they let me do whatever I want, thanks for trusting me to be silly in your world. Now I can actually play the game!

It's definitely accurate to how a player who has played the last 4 (including Bloodborne) Souls games would approach this game. The only inaccurate thing is that the pressure plate would shoot 3 darts at you instead of dropping an anvil.

I used to trip over chalk-line-high walls. My parents had me tested for epilepsy but it turned out I just sucked at lifting my feet at the right time.

I like to imagine as they're all simply astounded their chest high wall has been penetrated, they're cut down in their wall making prime. Sort of like how NPC's are just chilling at the campfire after a long day, trying to unwind from the stresses of war, only to be yeeted in oblivion by some ridiculous naked guy wearing a giant floppy hat.

The character’s ever-dead expression was spot on Whether youre watching everyone you know slowly die or standing before the elden ring, your face is always that same thousand-yard stare

Low walls actually do exist. They were quite useful actually. The enemy would charge and the defending army would let them cross the wall only to push them back and make them trip. An apparently insignificant obstacle becomes a mountain when you're surrounded by hundred of angry men trying to kill each other.

I felt the spirit of Monty Python in the entire chest-high wall bit. Could have been straight out of an episode of Flying Circus or a scene in Holy Grail and wouldn't have felt an ounce out of place.

2:30 is actually in the game (somewhat) You meet a jelly (dog) that is calling out for her sister, and if you use the jelly fish summom, the jelly says that they can finally ascend and both jellies disappear, giving access to a chest. You keep the jelly, i checked.

This really is Monthy Python level of comedy! A year later it feels even funnier than the 1st time I watched it! Bravo ! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This has major Monty Python vibes and it's exactly what this world needs.

I was laughing throughout the whole video but what really got me was that one npc warning about taking the main entrance. Poor guy, hardly any players listened to him due to the shifty appearance. The stump with arms having that southern drawl was great too! 😂 I had to subscribe after that! Thanks so much for the video parody! 😊

Its a chest-high wall brother, you can't go through it.

I am rolling over the delivery of the line: “He is suicidal! He is running straight towards the chest high wall!” Compounded with the animation of his face and eyes. After all the great circulation of comedic bits on the chest high wall, that just was the perfect peak to that joke. I can’t stop rewatching it.
