@cappadon
haven’t been able to enjoy a game quite the same since. it’s a masterpiece.
@VelocityBLU3
Playing elden ring from start to finish will tell you exactly why the game snagged that award
@darkbourne7722
Imagine experiencing Elden ring for the first time then a few days later you get a release date for the dlc rather than waiting for 2 years
@Gusto3791
Okay but the fact that 33% of Elden Ring players beat Malenia is INSANE. She’s hard as heck and it’s a testament to the game keeping people’s interest through completely optional, very difficult content that isn’t even THAT rewarding from an in game perspective.

Finishing the first playthrough of this in 69 hours is wild. I've seen people say 50 hours too. What are ya'll doing, just hitting the main bosses & looking stuff up & running to the finish line ? My first playrhrough was ~ 183 hours of savoring everything , & I only scratched the surface it turned out . We wait years for these treasures so its crazy to me that someone would want to rush through in a couple days. There's nothing like that first playthrough. Anyway you enjoyed yourself that's what counts
@OwnyOne
Frenzied flame is your fav ending? A man of culture, I see.

Ragnarok is an incredible story and Elden Ring is an incredible video game. Both can be great. I will always prefer Elden Ring, personally.

"Game doesn't tell you what to do". Except Vare telling you to go to the castle seek Godrick, Gideon telling you where the runebearers are. Oh and the guidance of grace leading you to the main quest objectives in golden lines as well. It's not as obvious as quest markers or navigation but the hand-holding is there for those who want it.
@zamze6493
getting all the 42 achievements in just 69 hours is quite amazing actually
@DanChippendaleMusic
450+ hours spent on this game. I've never done that before. Or since. It's got a very special place in my heart and mind. That's why I'm here watching this even though I've not played it for a good 6 months maybe. But I can basically visualise the entire map in my mind. The best designed game world ever for me. I can remember all of it... Genius design
@iHaveTheDocuments
I'm fromsoft simp so i was fully expecting it to blow my mind, and i was still shocked at how great it was. I've played them all before Elden Ring. Also 60 hours is just the beginning of exploration
@wozing
I'm a soulsborne fan, and Elden Ring was a dream for me. The world is vast, the lore is deep. It reminds me of the feeling I got when reading a book series when I was young-anything is possible.
@nyumartnyut5071
when he chose the frenzied ending, my heart cried for Boc
@wajeehahmed93
Elden Ring was my first souls game too. Was gifted by a friend at that time. 1.5 years later I started a new character 2 days ago and last night I killed Margit at first attempt on stream. Was so surprised.

After NG+9, i haven't went back to Elden Ring. One of the the best games I've ever played. I can't wait until shadow of the erdtree is released.
@Gusto3791
All achievement run in 69 hours is really fast.
@gambostic7420
The game doesn't straight up tell u where to go, but they drop hints, like FOLLOW the grace, and also the map is sooo good and thought out, that u always eventually end up where you're supposed to go for the main story from the starting area, i've put in over a 1000 hours in this game with 0 experience with a souls like game and i don't think i love any other game more than this game now
@Elpenor
There is no way in hell I could ever call Ghost of Tsushima's quest tracker the best ever, considering it straight up spoils how many parts some side quests have in advance....making it feel like a checklist until you get to the last part.

It always warms my heart to see a new person recognise the magnificence of Fromsoft games.
