100%. They’re my two favorite WOWSL CCs. I basically just watch one or the other depending on the type of videos I want to watch at that time.

Don't count on it. We're talking about Wargaming, console division to be specific, having to create a line of german ships based on WWII era projects. Considering their evident bias, they will be shit

"... has a pretty high skill floor." Which means that the vast majority of the first Elbings that are going to appear will be played by utterly garbage whales. Tier 7 to Legendary Tier matches are gonna be a pain in the ass to play then. I can already see all those dumbass whales only spamming HE on this ship despite facing against a perfectly broadside cruiser.

Lowkey forget the HE exists on Elbing if you catch most DDs the exceptions being Khaba and Delny running straight into you you can get raw pen dmg from the AP and even if they go broadside overpens from the AP still do more dmg than full HE pens

I do not know if the pen angles are so insane as they are on PC, but on PC you can shoot AP at DDs too because when they angle you do full pens which can do 5k+ on an unsaturated target. When saturation kicks in you still do more with AP usually, unless the DD is full flat broadside or totally angled.

I didn’t get to test it much but whenever I tried to hit angles DDs with AP i didn’t get any full pens Elbing should have PC pen angles tho so i must have just missed the sweet spot for full pens

I don’t know which cc it was. But I absolutely dumpstered all over this thing when they went broadside to me. Let me tell you what after shooting that thing with the Sumners guns, it absolutely CANNOT take small caliber AP rounds . It gets shredded in seconds.
