Elafonisi worth it if you a) stay close by and can visit early and late in the day when the day trippers either haven't arrived or have left. b) find the quiet spots past the serviced part beach It is truly beatiful and worth the visit. I am surprised it's taken so long to organise parking away from the beach itself.

Hey Zameer! If you believe they closed off the free parking to save the environment then I have a beach front property for you on sunny and warm planet Pluto… if no cars are not allowed then this must apply to all cars. How about those camper vans? The huts selling merchandise should also not be allowed. More damage is done by people walking than cars driving slowly. If they are going to charge 5€ they need to hand out receipt and provide transportation for the elderly and disabled. Crooks!!!

Been there for three times on the beginning of September will be there To many people on the high season About the parking ,it’s ok for the nature But the cars will stay more exposure under the sun on that new parking area Hope they have enough places for everyone 🌍🇬🇷

About 10 to 15 minutes

I was last week in a mountain very high about Elafonisi, you can see people like ants,it’s overtourism.

20 euro for two sunbeds and a umbrella! 😵😳

Before shitty Instagram this place was a treasure.

If you pay 5eur you go in the parking with your car like before?
