8 Perfect Days In Crete: An Unforgettable Experience
I'd redo this trip over and over - it was perfection! Mom and daughter trip to Crete. We only explored the western part of Crete so we could have a relaxing 8 days and it turned out perfect. 2 days near Elafonisi, 2 days closer to Balos and Falasarna, 2 days in Old Town Chania, and 1 night in Rethymno. Really was a perfect summer getaway. It was really hot and there were lots of people, but somehow our timing at most of the beaches was perfect and it was never seemed too crowded until we were leaving. Un petit raki ah c était de bon moment!
beautiful video. One little bit of advice, when you are served alcohol like raki or ouzo in small glasses, they are not shots, you sip it.

Although I am not 100% positive - I don't think so. You should be able to enter courtyard and follow steps up to the roof.

That was the Breeze Cafe & Bar. FYI - we enjoyed breakfast there but did not like our lunch food (club sandwich & pizzas) There are bars and cafes that line that whole area along the water.

Hard to say. You have to spend time in Chania but relaxing near a beach is equally necessary. Elafonisi was a favorite.
You just jump from one beach to another

The first hotel near Elafonisi was called Glykeria Hotel. Highly recommend - we loved it there. www.glykeria.com/
and the penises are ancient symbol of good luck, and the eyes are the evil eye protector.
