I don't speak a word of German, but I watched this just to hear Garanca's speaking voice. What I picked up was her immense personality. It's very strong.

As I watch all these interviews with her in other languages (usually German), I have to resist the urge to go into the comments and say, "What?" lol. But her speaking voice is as lovely as her singing voice, and you're absolutely right about her personality. She's wonderful.

I was impressed too. Almost perfect German with a touch of slavic accent.

This amazing interview is a masterpiece in itself. Charming, enchanting impression, intelligent, natural, beautiful lady. Even if she was not a the greatest singer this lady is stunning.

Я очень люблю Елену . На ней наряды всегда меня устраивали : она в них то торжественна , то величава , но никогда не теряла женственности . И вот впервые я её вижу в кожаной курточке . Она в ней напомнила мне средневекового рыцаря в доспехах и латах на плечах Тут малость потери женственности . Всё - таки когда женщина в тканях она остаётся женщиной .
