Sick and I've been there my lightning didn't quite make what I thought it should after I got my motor back from MHS so I'm redoing some of my setup. Exhaust, Intake and now ill have to check my tensioner.

Dude I totally understand your frustration i have a f150 i swapped from a 4.6 to a 5.0 with a whipple and I’ve had my trouble with it yes but getting it lined out

When you lower your engine be sure to check the radiator hose that goes into the double stack because it gets in a bind when you lower

I think at this point you should get with MMR in California and have them build you a intake manifold with their built in intercooler and then go twin turbo. You will be at almost 2000hp then. But I don't know if your transmission drives haft and rear diff will handle that much.

If you’re talking about Justin or Joe from VMP they along with Andrew have been really busy. VMP has been so busy they haven’t had time to do their twice a week live-streams in many months I can’t even remember when they stopped. But if you want to keep up with some of the crew at VMP you can check their channel out.

Not fully done with the video yet, but you just told me last week you haven’t had a single issue with the tensioner? Now this video you have stated you had all kinds of issues with the tensioner in the past? Which is true, because I was very surprised you said the stock tensioner has been fine for you.

It’s not tension that is the issue. It’s the 3/8” end to depress the tensioner that strips when getting the belt on and off

@@MustangLifestyleTV that is exactly why I ended up with an aftermarket tensioner. The stock ones strip too easily. Thanks for confirming, that really confused me from our prior conversation. Glad you got the bugs worked out. The car is a beast!

Sounds like the VMP Gen3R wasn't "out of gas" after all.

It may not have been out of gas, but the intercooler issue was the biggest concern.
