El Chapo's drug tunnels, explained
How El Chapo dug his way to the top of the drug trade.

Throughout his career as a drug trafficker, tunnels have been the common theme in El Chapo’s story. When he gained control of a major drug trafficking corridor in the late 1980s, Joaquin Guzman Loera - then known as “el Rapido”- was the first to create super tunnels for transporting drugs across the border.
At the time, a crackdown by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) meant Colombian cocaine was in decline and the Mexican narcotrafficker saw an opportunity. By using tunnels to facilitate fast transport, El Chapo leveraged his role as a trafficker to claim new responsibilities as a cultivator and distributor of drugs.
Over the next twenty years, he learned how to use his drug tunnels in ways nobody had ever imagined and his success became dependent on his subterranean inclinations. Although his masterful use of tunnels led him to a maximum security jail cell at Altiplano prison, it would be tunnels that also led him back out again.

Love him or hate him, you can’t deny the ingenuity of him and his gang. They are masterminds and we’re always 10 times ahead of everyone. Money bought him engineers who looked at every aspect of digging tunnels, the geography of the area and other aspects. I respect that hustle. Only sad that countless innocent lives were lost in the process.

While one may acknowledge the ingenuity and resourcefulness of El Chapo and his gang in executing their illegal activities, it is important to remember the devastating impact of their actions on society, including the loss of countless innocent lives and the perpetuation of violence and corruption. While it is understandable to recognize their intelligence and cunning, it is crucial not to glorify or condone criminal behavior.

Bob Cruz - I hope you said that sarcastically. Trump first pushed for a wall in July 2015. The Sinaloa drug cartel, built the first cross-border narcotúnel, in 1989. So those would be some pretty futuristic, over-the-top protestors. LOL. Jeez, these Soros claims make him sound as though he’s this omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent evil mastermind.

@@Vyrkhan " it's better to be dumb than have half the knowledge " - Socrates You know that a majority of US consumed illegal Drugs come from the docks but don't know how. They come from china( the so called "communist" one , ie the PRC ) . They take advantage of our Postal acts, because of which we can't check what's inside a postal package while transportation. That why , they ship almost finished drugs or raw materials for drug production ( Both of which are a million times more harder to find that say completely processed drugs) and then they are processed at one of the three major processing hubs in US - San Diego ( California), Toledo (Oregon ), or Lynnwood ( Washington) . Then they are trucked to distribution hubs in 23 States. The Problem with catching the processing facilities are that :- 1) The processing facilities don't order the almost finished drugs or raw materials for drug production, they arrive from China and are then sold to the production facilities. And there is so much competition in this industry that if one production facility is closed another one will just pop up near by. Also the ridiculous amounts of profits made through a production facility don't help the problem. One production facility earns the owner close to 1.5 billion dollars yearly on average. 2) Finding these facilities are like finding a needle in a haystack where if you mistakenly pick up the hay you are having a two months suspension sentence best and a 3 years prison sentence worst. In each of these production hub cities there are at least 1 productions facility for every 1000 residential homes. You can't go banging on the doors of thousands of people suddenly now can you?
