The head of the State Security Service of Belarus, Ivan Tertel, has claimed that a drone attack on Minsk from Lithuania was allegedly foiled. The latter called the statement a fabrication. According to Russian media, the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus chief said that his service, in cooperation with other security forces, had thwarted the attack as a result of "sharp Chekist measures." No details or evidence were made public. According to the Lithuanian media, Major Gintautas Čiunis, a representative of the army's strategic communications department, said that the above-mentioned accusations by Belarus are disinformation and he cannot call such statements anything but "nonsense."
