To pull of the choreography of this program and not look silly, you have to have had the incredible musicality and synchronization that these 2 had. A lot of male pair skaters just don't have the dance ability that Sergei had. Their hearts truly beat as one.

He was quite shy. He let Katya shine. Best pairs skaters ever. EVER!!! There will never be another pair like them. Such synchronicity n talent. 🥰🥰🥰

Sergei was born Feb 4, 1967. This amazing performance was in 1987. Katia was born May 28, 1971. Sergei started skating when he was 5 years old. Katia started when she was 4 years old. Their very hard work and dedication to this sport has been unsurpassed! G&G forever in my opinion. Rest In Peace Sergei Grinkov.

Such a cute couple and fun program. They are still fascinating to watch. Their career ended too soon as did their life together Im sure it was a blessing for her to have his child before she lost him

Был СССР,спортсменов проверяли в физдиспансерах,где были профессионалы,которые способны были определить любые проблемы!Горшков после такого заболевания олимпиаду выиграл!А как развалился СССР Катя с Сергеем в Канаде не имели медицинской достойной поддержки,а работали на износ...Вот произошло несчастье.

I notice Sergei hardly ever smiles on the ice. I think he does it on purpose to not take any ounce of attention away from Katia. Most pairs try for equal attention, but Sergei seems to want to stay in the background and let his partner bask in the limelight. Not too many like him.

the beginning part where they were dancing I would of fell, I can only do a little jump or extend my leg behind me. Other than that I used start losing balance with everything else, or I land and start going to fast and run into the wall...hehe...

i swaer this is a short program

It was good for being in sync but this was was skating was demasculated. I cringe.

They skated so beautifully here but the kiddie, circus-like music didn't suit them.
