She also says "all done" during dinner when she sees we are eating something she wants - she tries to convince us that "she's all done" with HER dinner, and should therefore have some of ours!

Before bed each night, I scroll Y/Tube to get my Einstein “fix.” She makes my night and then I ring up Mom in the morning to share the laughter. Jeff speaks to him like a child, so calmly too. I think this is why he understands what's about to happen & does it feely. It's truly amazing!

alada03 niño! Genetic testing at age 17 or so proved “she” was a male. Parrots have sexual dimorphism, so it’s hard to tell

I love you Einstein! I wish Nellie would talk in the shower too. She's a rescue but she is beginning to come around.

@wolfsoul333 Generally speaking, larger parrots are thought to have an intelligence that rivals a 2-3 year old child. While most of their "speech" is just repeating the sounds they hear, if someone spends time with their bird, they can and do understand that certain items are identified by specific words.

I was in a pet store back in the early 80s. I used to love to go look at the birds. One time the owner was removing a parrot from his cage with a net the bird was upside down in this net getting moved to another cage saying. " I can't fly, I can't fly." So smart.

I love how she opens her wings. I love this bird. May God bless her.❤❤❤❤

When I come home from work I turn on U-Tube hoping to find Einstein! It is my way of relaxing. Thank you sooo much for sharing him. I have adopted him. The shower was magnificent! I just love him!

@spagettiikid94 Yes, at times she does. For example, like when she says, “Wanna come see you”. She really does want to get picked up. There are many times when I know, she knows what she is saying. When she talks randomly, I think she is just doing what birds like to do, and that’s… make noise. Whether it's chirps or words. I think she is just vocalizing what come naturally - what she has learned.

This is so amazing. I love this bird. She is a winged human with feathers. Thank you for letting us be a part of her life.

I love her! I have two boy parakeets (me and my sons first birds ever) at home and they both talk. They say stuff like "hi baby" "come on" "come here" and a few other things. Someday when I have more time I cant wait to add a African Grey Parrot to my family! Till then, I will enjoy watching Einstein! Thank you for all the giggles you bring to me and my son!

I can often tell by the way Einstein says stuff as to whether it was Jeff or Marcia he picked up the words or phrases from. 😀 Sometimes it's the tone of voice and sometimes the pitch!

There is no water under her. The drain is open, so it doesn't collect. She could walk in shallow water if she fell in, however she stays on the perch most of the time.
