They had to switch out their 4th pick for some reason, maybe because they werent playing good enough defence

@@victorzhang6859 my understanding is they realized that they didn't need the tripple traversal and the 4th had better defense.

Do you know what's funny half of that defense from 3175 was extremely similar to my defense strategy i used. Btw im the driver for team 1708. My defense was one of the highlights of the greater pittsburgh regional
its good to see some of that FIM defense in the finals great job by everyone in the finals and it was awesome every team at worlds came to play and make it a great championship after the 2 year break.
That match was pretty cool, good job both alliances!
Congrats to Up-A-Creek, Cheesy Poofs, and Fusion Corps!

@@tooooom9842 that was the strat, make the opposition get used to 6672's defense and form a counter for that, and then swap in 3175 with a different style of defense, thus throwing 1577 and their alliance into confusion.

@@victorzhang6859 3175 was swapped in for defense because 6672 wasn't playing defense as well source: my brother is friends with 3175's driver, not sure if I'm remembering correctly though

this might be a bad take but how do you get to world’s without a 3 ball auto??
Hightide took their L’s in Einstein 2022 and turn them into W’s in Einstein 2023.
1577 is the best team out there
Are FRC robots autonomous? Do they use ROS and SLAM?

No

First 15 seconds of the match are autonomous, while the rest of the 2 minutes and 15 seconds are controlled by the drivers

I can't imagine the nightmare of trying to getting a group of high school students to set up ROS dev environments lol to answer your question properly though, no. There's a part of the match that runs autonomously, but their code is built for the field management system (FMS) built by FIRST and the standardized hardware that supports that
