I love how the way she does this is like a perfect blend between the Dolly Parton version and the Whitney Houston version.

This is a performance that was out of this world. I usually say, no one could touch Whitney with this song...but Ailee did her own thing with it and both Whitney's version and this version are iconic!!

Well said.💯She did this with ease and it was phenomenal. First time I've heard her sing live. I think I found her by seeing a vid of Jonghyun's funeral🥺 and her "Goodbye My Love" was playing. I had to know what so g it was.😭 Oh. My poor heart.😔💔

the song touched her heart, she had tears in her eyes but she managed to control herself, and finish the song, she is extraordinary

No hate to other singers in Korea, l love kpop, but I think Ailee deserves more attention than what she has now, she is such an amazing singer, and she deserves more love.

I don't even know that many Korean singers but I know that nothing can top this type of voice. It's literal perfection, no one can possibly sing better

give Ailee just one song and she'll just stand there giving her all for just that one song. the beauty in her simplicity. no dancing no props but only her vocals that'll mesmerize you forever. jackson & jinyoung were awestruck so bad i relate to them.

I'm sure it's Jake Zyrus or whatever his name is now. Charice was a phenomenal but too bad, she changed herself into a guy. Her voice was clearly what a talented person would have, but she's now gone, only videos of her remain. As a fellow fan of Charice for years (since she was in Star King), I agree that Charice was one of the best female singers we would have at this era. But her voice was nowhere as controlled as Ailee, the emotion she tried to express just wasn't as much as how Ailee does. She's good, but Ailee is just too good.

Her singing made me cry not gonna lie she is the second singer after Whitney Houston that managed to make me cry after hearing this song

She then partook in a korean pre-debut trainee singers competition with her Halo by beyonce and its been uphill ever since. It is amazing to see how much she improved with all the right training.

I don’t know much about vocal things, but Ailee hold B4 - C#5 melisma which Whitney didn’t hold it live. I compared Whitney live to this, and I think Ailee is better in both melisma and head voice usage (my opinion). Whitney is a better singer for sure, but in this song Ailee beats her.

This performance gave me goosebumps from head to toes, Ailee salyed it 💜💜

My God! She's got her own unique style & talent. Love her voice

I can't even comprehend this. This woman is breathtakingly incredible. She commands the stage by simply standing there. So much raw, natural talent. The most beautiful cover I have ever listened to. The best word to describe her? Effortless. Purely effortless. You don't see talent like this. She connected with this song on another level I have yet to witness. The level of emotions and how much she poured her entire heart and soul into this song really touched me. I want everyone to watch this, and hopefully feel as much as I did while listening. It's such a difficult task to take a world-wide legend's song, like Whitney, and do it justice. Brava, Ailee. I admire her with as much passion as I possibly can, and I hope one day I can posses even the slightest amount of talent that she does. She is definitely and officially in my top 5 of best female vocalists in history. 😍

I totally agree about the raw talent. Some people they can just hold a tune and then are trained how to develop which is great and all but for me it's rare to find a singer that sounds like she came out the womb singing like this and with such passion
