Yeah but Diamant can easily shred her tho especially when he can counter 💀 They're bad tbh like they deal 0 dmg to attuned caeda and emblem Ike. Also my Rosado base also easily tanked them in TT

​@giratinalight for a modern unit, they have a surprising lack of true damage or something else that lets them cheat. I mean, wedel is half a year older, and she's better at bursting tanks.

Diamant when the opponent follows up or attacks twice (he'll most likely be crippled or die, but it's very nice when he can take on something and live, even if he is crippled. Most Units simply perish.)

@@jonassilva2099 daimant has the advantage vs lucia. Lucia is good because she blocks specials from triggering, and that's good because it made it harder to peirce her DR%. Diamant has DR% piercing all of the time. he also has damage subtraction, and it stacks with Laguz friend, Lucia on the other hand, only has the option to use laguz friend, and her stats aren't as geared for it. so diamant isn't going to take a lot from Lucia, while Lucia can totally take a lot from him.

@@samkeiser9776 "Diamant has advantage vs Lucia", you said. Did Diamant even stops Lucia's innate NFU with his SPD check modded calculation? No. At best, Diamant's PRF effect is the ancestor of Frozen bonus effect, that is all. She completely shuts him down, unless you put some efforts and support on him. This is an irrelevant discussion since few months ago, neither of them are meta, antimeta or whatever else you want Diamant to be.

no the real issue is passive special DR%, damage subraction is really only good with DR%, and so long as DR% is manageable it is too. it's when units have unmanageable DR% when things like damage subraction really become a problem, I mean this diamant here is exposed to melee threats and has no offensive special, that alone is a downside enough.

Can someone pls point out to me which of the hundred effects active in this video is responsible por Gullveig not doubling? I haven't done the math but it feels like her natural speed advantage + extra speed gained through bonuses should be enough to overcome the modified speed threshold of Diamant's weapon

It's hard to say because as always, he never really shows the build he's "Showcasing". Diamant's statline is all over the place so I couldn't tell you how he got it there. Terrible as usual.

So Dianmant hits 60 spd thanks to CH and FoJ 2x instances of Null Follow up via weapon and c skill of gatekeeper. +25 speed in order to double meaning S!Gullveig must hit 85 spd due to.her trace skill She has 47 spd base and gains 32. That's 79 spd which which isn't enough to overcome that difference. Even with the power.of the Atk/Spd catch seal she only hits 84. If you pay attention when she goes for her third attack she lost spd, catch skills requires EITHER foe 100% hp or a penalty on them, tier 4 grans 7 and additional 2 if both are met. If she had Blade Session I believe she would've doubled with the dancers

wrong. he added awesomeness. nothing is superior than tank meta. screw offense and nuke meta. pre combat damage is the real cancer.
