Egyptian Museum Cairo, Egypt (First Floor) Walking Tour

This walk was filmed on the evening of January 20th, 2019. I had limited time to film the museum since it was closing soon so this is a QUICK walk through. I walk past many exhibits. There was also very little light since it was dark outside and much of the museum is lit through the windows to the outside. Given that, I hope you enjoy this tour of the first floor of the Egyptian Museum. Thanks for watching!

@@pink5118 We visited the Cairo Museum - but it was when King Tutakhamuns gold mask was touring the USA, so we did not see that, but, there were so many objects we really did not miss it too badly. 😊 The drive from Alexandria to Cairo aling the Nile was fascinating, like being in history... I also remember the drive back to Alexandria, through the desert... I had NEVER seen the stars so bright... I think I spent the entire 3 hour drive, with my nose pressed to the window. Amazing.

Video looks great. I visited it April 2010 and it seems cleaned. I believe Tutankhamen 's treasures are moved to Grand Egyptian Museum. I hope to visit it after the opening.

Hey, I was there in January and as far as I know, all of the Tutankhamen exhibit was still there. I saw the famous funerary mask, but I wasn't able to film it. Anyway, the 2nd Floor walk will be posted up on Saturday..or sooner. Thanks for watching!
