The guy is very sweet, a good husband and a great father- already looking out for what his wife wants and what his child needs even though he is so young. well done you both.

The child would one day grow up and they could've made the upstairs the master bedroom until the lil one was old enough to be upstairs on his own. All that extra space plus a pool and that beautiful back and front yard ..also did I mention the inside space In that same second house . The third house looked cramped especially the kitchen and living room when they all were standing in and around it 🤷🏾‍♀️oh well!! the best of Luck to them.

a lot of people like smaller intimate spaces particularly when the children are little, it feels cosier and everyone can be together in eye-sight while still doing their own thing. sprawling houses usually limits emotional intimacy and physical closeness.

Personally, I would have gone for the 2nd home. Turned that home office into the babies bedroom for now then, move the office upstairs to one of the bedrooms then as he grows up, the switch can be altered.

'child friendly' house is redundant. all homes should be warm and welcoming for children. If its unhealthy for a child its probably unhealthy for you.
