Egusi Peppersoup Recipe (Oil Less Egusi Soup)

Hi Lovelies,
If you're not already familiar with this Soup, you're in for a treat. Egusi Peppersoup is basically Egusi Soup without Palm Oil and trust me it is so yum! The spices from the Peppersoup Mix and the assortment of proteins in this Soup lend to the overall taste that is something not found in many other Nigerian Soups.
I personally like to eat it with Eba but you can have it with Boiled Plantains, Boiled Yams and most swallows. Do try it out and let me know your thoughts.

Serves: 4
Ingredients
150g Egusi (Melon Seeds)
400g Chicken (Cubed)
200g Goat meat
75g Dried Prawns
2 Cups Chicken Broth
11/2 Tbsp Peppersoup Spice
2 Tsp Cameroon Pepper
2 Tbsp Crayfish
Handful Uziza leaves
2 Stock Cubes
1 Tsp Salt

    Wow awesome! I've been searching all over for this. This is the best recipe I have come across for this delicious delicacy. I have tried beef, chicken, dried fish and even frozen fish and it all tastes heavenly. Please can I use this video on a post?

    Oil-less Egusi is my go-to. I'm actually having it right now with Eggplant fufu. I like it a bit lumpy so I add a spoonful at a time of the egusi paste.

    Looks good. I can imagine how delicious it will be with the chicken. I've had it twice, and i really enjoyed it. I'm yet to try it, but with this video now, I'm definitely going to make it for myself
