My mouth was drooling by the time you were plating up Ryan. Great recipe and tuition throughout. Always thought the sauce was only something a highly trained chef could achieve. You’ve have inspired me to have a go myself. You both should have a pop up kitchen on the tow path where you offer cooking lessons!

Hey guys, nice video!. I have not had it that way. As I've told you before I live in Stillwater OK. There is a restaurant here called Granny's kitchen. well they have on there menu,four or five eggs benadict. one they replaced the ham with turkey, another they call Southwest in which they replaced the sauce with one with salsa in it . Straight Benedict and I have yet to try the other two YET. I will try to get the recipe for the Southwest and let you know. Love your videos keep it up and be safe

Yum although I like it with smoked salmon (I think some people call that Royale) and sweet potato crisps. However bacon never goes amiss so maybe both?? :)

No, hollandaise sauce doesn’t keep in the fridge, it’s a sauce that needs to be kept warm. It will solidify in the fridge as it is mostly butter!

A “chef” in English is someone who cooks 😊 In English we use the word “chief” or “commander” for the word you’re thinking of. So we are called Narrowboat Chef because we cook on the boat! 😁

Those Muffins I know you got them in England, but they didnt seem to have very many 'nooks & crannys' , whereas the american Thomas' English Muffins brag about the abundance of nooks & crannys to hold butter/jam/ eggysaucegoop

RWBimbie 😒😒 I don’t want to talk about it... 😅 unfortunately, we didn’t have any “shop bought” muffins and no way to get any at short notice, so I figured “I’ll just make our own”... long story short, our yeast appears to have died and did not do its job. Too late to back out, so we forged ahead and hoped no one would notice - well, that didn’t work out now, did it? 😂 ~Maggie
Mate, how do you keep the extra for another day? Put it in a jar? Refrigerate? Will it separate if stored for a few days?

Basically it’s a crime to have Hollandaise sauce left over...! 😉😁 Unfortunately, hollandaise isn’t a sauce that keeps - trying to reheat it will split it and keeping it out will make it go bad pretty quickly.

Some people like to have spinach on theirs, but it tends to be called Eggs Florentine rather than Eggs Benedict 😊

We cook what we like to eat - we certainly aren’t health nuts but we wouldn’t consider most of our recipes unhealthy. Yes, Eggs Benedict has a lot of butter in it, but we have it *maybe* 4 times a year. Everything in moderation 😊
