Use the side of a plastic paperclip instead of a screwdriver...

I agree those are the best of the bunch for egg tumblers. I have two. My LFS was nice enough to order me a couple when Cobalt was having a sale at cost. Other wise they are a bit pricey. But the build quality is second to none.

Loved the stripping portion as well. Had never seen someone use a net and hadn't thought of it

Love your Channel. And I have a question.. I had noticed that one of my Africans was holding. This is my first time with any eggs. From you videos knew how to extract them and put them in a Tumblr. But I noticed that their heads have came out of the egg and they are moving. But Just the head and everything else is still in the egg what do I do. And what do you feed Fry the small. And any additional advice would be much appreciated thanks for the videos.

The big ones seem to have nice action but we will stick to the DIY tumblers you can put 3 DIY side by side in the space of one of those big ones. DIY tumblers can easily hold 75 eggs so I'm just not getting why those are so big. Nice video keep the vids coming.

How many eggs can fit in the big tumbler without being too many? Once they hatch how long do you keep them in the tumbler before moving to a tank?

thanks for the quality education on the topic. Is it possible to pry open their mouths with something less intrusive, sharp and damaging than a metal screwdriver? Plastic, rubber?

really would not recommend a screwdriver, a sharp movement from a fish can slice it open , or damage the eggs, id use a hair bobby pin with the soft plastic on the end or a rounded match stick end anything soft, otherwise a great video and very informative and thank you
