Well, I agree with you (in assessing the video) that the most important thing (my words) for any of us is if we agree with God. The reason the question is posed is because there are ministers, preachers…….who say things that God does not agree with and people follow those preacher. The question has to do with what people think about this specific matter.

It is even more unfortunate that people follow those who teach things that God has not said. I believe that Apostle Paul says, " Follow me as I follow Christ." This is of utmost importance......is the person who I am listening to actually leading me closer to Christ or leading me away from Christ in my thinking, living, and being?

My sister was an evangelist. She once told me that it is a sin to allow anyone openly practicing sin to take a leadership position in the church, because it pollutes the pulpit. Deliberate sin, is rebellion against God. How can that person be an example or a teacher? The Bishop was right to take a stand for the sake of his congregation.

I agree with all that you said. But also, the Bishop (as the leader) and the church have to do their due diligence and properly vet anyone who will be on their stage. I agree with all that the Bishop said but I believe that the church also dropped the ball on this one. Had the church done the background check they would have known about the young man's effeminate nature.

Absolutely! Thank God for pastor/leaders standing for Righteousness! It's rare now! They installed one in a church Sunday school, we used to attend. We removed our children IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!! And left that place PRONTO! Holiness is essential for those who truly love God! But NOT essential for church nowadays, not even important! People go to church thinking they're doing the best/right thing for their families, not realising peado predators are in the place, no warning from anyone, Just a bystander attitude, no courage! There are fornicating, dishonest leaders and praise and worship leaders, folks having affairs, some losing their marriages and families to people in the church. People getting re-married to the very husband or wife they STOLE and then on the pulpit PREACHING AGAIN!!!!! With the new spouse they "stole" from the brother or sister in the CHURCH .... No one even blinks! Make that make sense ...! IT IS A SICKENING DISGRACE! The "church" without HOLINESS is a very dangerous place, BAD things happen there. Bad things, be on guard if you go, watch who is around your kids, not every pastor or leader should be around children at all! We need to have discernment in order to navigate and survive the deluge raging through the so called church!!!! So much nastiness prevalent in the church now!! Judah, I want your opinion, please. I knew a man from the moment of his birth. When he started walking and talking, it was clear that he was effeminate. His parents tried everything they knew of to get the effeminate side out of him with manly sports, activities, etc. But, nothing worked ! ( Sadly, he died of AIDS 5 years ago at age 57. ) Please, Judah, please tell me what you, personally , would have done to knock that effeminate streak out of him………as a child. I wish I had the wisdom of Solomon to better answer your question. I believe God created male and female. Male chromosomes are XY Female chromosomes are XX The Human Body is a miracle within itself. Scripture says , we are fearfully and wonderfully made ( Psalm 139 ) I often refer back to Job when the burdens of this world weigh heavy on my mind . Job wanted to challenge God.... Remember ? God told Job to stand up like a MAN God was going to answer Job ! The Bible is the living Word . Where did that emotion come from ? God even warned Cain that Sin lieth at the door. I believe in generational curses. We are born in a sinful world. For one to believe that God made a male baby to be effeminate at birth is to blame God .... Life and sin starts in the womb. Mothers please speak life into your womb while carrying your child. The Devil roars about seeking whom to devour and last I heard babies are not off limits with the forces of Darkness. I remember as a new believer going to the alter to get prayed for and some young men, who were living a worldly lifestyle, would catch people as they fell out in the spirit. I said to myself I don't want them touching me pushing the spirits that I need out of me back in me. I'm trying to get free! Well, why would you have a person who is not free sing the spirits that he's dealing with onto/into the people in the congregation? As a same gender loving man who loves the Lord. I made the choice to live celibate years ago because I cannot reconcile scripture to the lifestyle. Loving a man and having sex with a man is NOT synonymous; If you ask me about marriage my answer is and always will be ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN, I don't care what LGBTQ says. I am masculine and I love being a man. I don't understand why I am the way that I am, I knew this about myself from a young lad and I was never molested. I'm a former veteran from the army. My place of abode is totally masculine. I don't know nor understand why so many gay men are effeminate, many have been raised by single women, surrounded by her girlfriends, sisters, aunts, and grandmothers that they acquire that effeminate behavior. Totally void of strong masculine men in their lives to model after. I've never seen a gay man wake up in the morning as a totally lusting heterosexual. You can't pray the gay away but you don't have to be part of that lifestyle. That just happens to be my own personal thorn in the flesh. The worst thing the Black church can do is push these men into a marriage that often ends in disaster. People have tried to push me into a marriage and I would never put that part of myself onto a woman. She deserves to be loved the way a heterosexual man can provide.

I appreciate your honesty. You know there are many reasons why humanity has an aversion to God’s plan. Being born in sin creates an opportunity for perversion to rise in our lives. There are other gateways like generational perversion ( demons vex families), masturbation (same sex pleasuring), pornography (same sex mirror images), lack of relationship with male and longing for connection, and mistreatment by women or overfamiliar with the woman mindset or behavior. The enemy walked in after the garden fall and now creeps in through psychological and other opportunities. There’s a book called, “It Didn’t Start With Me.” It explains epigenetics. May the God who saves and delivers show you his power and give you information (truth) to withstand the deceiver and liar. 🙏🏽

I definitely agree w-Bishop Wooden & thank God for the Elder Rayford who took care of it behind the scenes. But I’m also tired of seeing women who belong to churches going up in the church pregnant with baby after baby and they’re not married, and nobody says anything; and not only that having the nerve to give them a baby shower, or attend their baby shower, men who belong to a church, who have all these baby mamas, some of them in the church they’re going to, and nobody saying nothing, and people who are in church, obese, and even morbidly obese, thus practicing gluttony, and nobody saying nothing!! let’s take a stance against all sin that we may grow, it’s not about judging each other. it’s about growing in the grace, and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and stop allowing the devil to put us to sleep about one sin, but our eyes are fixed fixated on another!!

Preach Bishop! That’s my Pastor and I’m proud of it and him! Live according to the Word of God! No practicing homosexual or effeminate man or a woman who acts like a man, or any fornicator, should have a position in the House of God! Be ye holy, because Christ is holy!

Well said Bishop, more people need to speak like this.

Amen again!,so i see less Amens so far than should,This man is one of the few preachers not afraid to preach the truth in spite of fundings to his church being lost etc..Alot of pastors will remain quiet because they have those very same people leading their choirs and worship team right now,and the people enjoy the way the choir sings with them leading them up there,because it still gains offerings which is all alot of them care about anyway.

This man needs to be presiding bishop.

Certain t sin was punishable by death. Some by being cast out, etc, etc. This doesn’t mean some sin is okay and some aren't - this just means it's levels to this thing.

Anyone in any situation should be allowed to go to church. But to hold any leadership positions that person should be Truly Saved!!!!

Finally, I can listen to someone with courage. Compared to this, jakes' sermons are nothing but poison.

The church is not equipped to get to the root of a lot of stuff. The church likes to separate what kind of sin is allowed in church. 😢 sad

Evidently, you did not pay attention. He said ANYONE is welcome. But, a choir leader is a Leader in the church, even if only for one hour. And as a Leader, anyone effeminate or those with sin should not be in a LEADERSHIP position.

We should be blameless in perspective positions of leadership in church, Especially a Bishop and thses leaders MUST lead as Jesus taught. However no one is sinless 1Timothy 3

I had a friend who was a newbie Christian who invited me to her church. Afterwards, she invited me a few more times. Then one day she asked me why I didn't bring my young son (under 9) with me. I told her that I would not bring him to see that effeminite choir director as an example of manhood. I have no hate for LGBTQ, but I didn't believe they should be in leadership positions at the church.

Courageous man of God. Soon this will be illegal and a man like this will be arrested for these statements.

Yes, I agree not just with Bishop Wooden; I agree with the Word of God that says to put a difference between Holy and unholy, between clean and unclean. Some things have to remain holy in the Church. We are responsible for upholding the standards no matter who disagrees. The world will always disagree with the standards of the Word of God, but we are a peculiar people, a holy people called forth to show the praises and the standards of God. How else will the world know the difference?

Most Black males are effeminate. Black women are so desperate for Black males that they even hook up with effeminate Black males. TBT

I thank God for this man of God being solid and brave enough to speak the truth in love. When I was a teacher, kids would cone to my room because it was a safety net for misfits. You could not bully folks in my classroom. Many of these misfits were homosexual children. They knew I stood against sin in whatever form but they came because they knew I still loved them. I have been so torn about this in the church because many of the musicians in church now are practicing homosexuals. They are extremely gifted and committed, but God requires holiness. I don’t believe a practicing adulturer, fornicator, thief, drug abuser or any practicing sinner should be ministering to God’s people! If you are truly in tune to God you may get off course but when He reveals your sin, you can’t keep acting like He hasn’t. That’s was one of David’s strength. When God checked him, he repented!

If you are a TRUE follower of Christ, follower of the Word and know the Word, if it be wrong in the eyes of the Lord.....there's no questioning it! Yes, Bishop Wooten was right and I wish more of these so call Bishops, Pastors, Minsters would just STOP riding the fence being scared and do what is biblical right to do. Thank you Bishop Wooten you are God's anointed.🙏

I applaud the stance of The Upper Room Church and Bishop Wooden!! Hats off to you. It is time we stop looking the other way acting as if we don’t see this infiltration.

The Bishop is correct, but this has been going on for many, many, many years. He is one that has stood up and back it up with God's Word. Thank you .

If we had preachers like this in Chicago, I would go to church. I would make the church my life. This city and the black community here needs moral leadership.
