THIS is the right reaction to La Forza! This really slays and if she sings live as well as in the studio version with a beautiful fairytale stage performance this could EASILY be in the top 10 or maybe top 5! She just HAS to win Eesti Laul. This would be such an impressive comeback for Estonia. My second is definitely Külm. This song has something traditional and magical combined, it is something DIFFERENT and would stand out. The only question is how this song can slay live or if one falls asleep. My third would be Home if I wouldn't have in mind that the refrain sounds exactly like Ireland 2015. While having that in mind this song is just like a copy of another song and should not go to Eurovision. My real third then is Laura, but I don't think this song can slay live. I agree with you guys, La Forza is definitely the best song of the Estonian pre-selection, i can imagine this even as a winner. I really like also Etnopatsy, A thousand words, Laura and Home. 1st semifinal is far better than the second one.

I think la forza is a potential top 5. The televote will love it and the juries should hopefully give her points for her voice. Hope she wins!! 😍

Some people already noticed that the Italian language in "La forza" is a bit dated, looking like expressions from the 19th century. In a way, it looks the song's authors took the words from an opera libretto. The song itself is extremely powerful, and I have no doubt that Elina will totally nail every single high note during live performances. This is definitely a stand out, don't know if a winner, and I hope to see her in Lisbon. Please don't draw comparisons with Il Volo, as they sing operatic pop, while Elina sings classical opera.

wiwibloggs I generally think she can, i mean it pleases younger and older audiences which is what eurovision songs should do.

The live performances will change everything. That’s going to be a very nervy semi-final for the performers. I think Stig Rasta will walk through the semi, followed by “La Forza”, and after that it’s possibly “Drop That Boogie”, “On my mind” and that Sybil Vane song. I would love “Külm” to qualify, but i have a feeling it will just miss out. x

I TOTALLY agree with you guys!!

I love Iiris and Aggo. The song is sassy, catchy, memorable and different. I can hear it becoming an international hit or at least very popular in Estonia.

I'm estonian and my favorites is etnopatsy, vaje, la froza.

Elina (La Forza) is almost a homerun if it just had that synthesized EDM strings to give it an edge rather than standard opera, this would slay!! Combine La Forza with Urban Symphony 2009 and you got a winner of Eesti Laul and Top 3 at Eurovision with it most likely winning its semi.

Eesti Laul Semi-Finals part 1 just ended! La Forza, Home, Thousand Words, Drop that boogie and Laura (Walk with me), those are the songs that got through the semi-finals and moved on to finals. 😊

Home is by far my favourite, La Forza is good too. I don't like the other ones that much.

I think it's a really good and diverse selection of songs, good job Estonia! The most of the songs are really good, so it's tough to pick a favourite but the songs that have stayed in my mind and that I listen to are the ones from Vaje and Etnopatsy. ✌

Really good semi. Quality would outdo most other national selection finals. My favourites in this semi final are 1. Desiree, 2. Elina and 3. Vaje (the Laura-snowman-smashing scene in promo video is one of my highlights of the Eurovision preselection season so far). I quite like Stig's song too. Is it just me, or do they seem to have all the really good entries in this Eesti Laul semi though?

No one can deny her vocal chops- Il Volo didn't win the jury vote but they still placed really well with them (5th or 6th). Given that the song is in the same vein and Elina can claim the Russian vote as well, Estonia could do just as well with La Forza.
