With hindsight Jones was basically Gifted the HW belt. We didn't see what Jon's skills at HW r at all. No striking, no movement, no adversity. Just falling into a quick choke hold. Tom fought Pavlovich. One of the scariest HW's we've ever seen. All of Tom's fights have been super impressive. Tom should be able to be a active HW champ. It's messed up Jon Jones is Ruining that for Tom. While Jon is inactive, picking & choosing his legacy fights? Refusing to fight the interim belt. If this was anyone else the UFC would have stripped the belt. I just have to say this: Tom DESERVES the HW belt! Tom has done so much at HW we have NEVER seen. Tom has brought the skill and abilities at HW to a whole other level! It's beyond messed up Tom is being held back from being active in his prime years due to this BS. None of it is Tom's fault. I get that it's not a "real" win, but tko due to injury is still a valid way to win. Both entered, and one couldn't continue. As in, I think the W in curtis' column should remain a W. I agree with everything you said though, Jones is really fuckin this up for tom. Especially considering jones was given those opportunities at 23 and tom is 31. He's stealing from his legacy to try to add his own even with a 8 year head start. Shogun was gracious enough to give a young jones, with a best win over ryan Bader, his shot at gold. Stipe is old, hasn’t fought in years and his last outing was a brutal KO loss, he’s going to be a shell of his former self and morons are still eating it up.

Allen has become the guy whose most memorable piece of analysis is that he did well against Max. Remember when it was Till, he did well against Rob & they rode that until the wheels fell off. However a big factor in those fights is that both Rob & Max were coming off of vicious losses to the champ & often times for established guys like them, that can mess with their game & confidence as they start to question themselves, try new approaches or fight conservatively, which leads to the next opponent after the bad L doing better than they would under normal circumstances.
