Never seen a jet reverse thrust in flight that’s wild
18:24 Ok that lancer landing with the piston prop sound cracked me up. Don't think it was intentional, but the comedic timing worked out perfectly.

Edwards AF, the distance away from runways is my only dislike compared to other AFB venues.

Totally agree, it was more awe-inspiring to be on an historic base versus viewing the performances. I'm curious why the flight path referenced the runway and not the flight line?

@@brnby8984 The flightline i.e. start up and statics are great, up close and walk through. But being close to runway to hear and feel full power at brake release is goosebumps for sure.

I think it has something to do with having things they don’t want us to see (not too close) just know we frickin have. America is simply the BEST. Bring it Sino-Russia!

A nice show and two things in particular strike me immediately. The Bone is truly a sexy and beautiful heavy bomber when the wings are folded back. The Viper is like a mosquito in the sky. Incredibly agile and fast.
Bet that sonic boom from the F-22 took some people by surprise

Yes. They bring out their reversers during a tactical descent with a very low deck angle.

i wish they still did live fire shows saw a old video of a b-36 peacemaker doing some carpet bombing and a bunch more of those older bombers i think it was in the late 50s or something... would love to see buff and the bone do that in person i wanna hear the sound it would make

Even with the best view in the house, what killed this show is how FAR AWAY they were. Using the furthest runway and the show itself being far and high, terrible combination. However, watching the show live was pretty awesome. It was just overall not good for filming, this is probably the best we’re gonna get from that demo.

The featured aircraft are a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, a Rockwell B-1B Lancer, a Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor, two General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcons, and a Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II.

There were no F-15s in this Demo, but, yes, the Mighty Eagle is an awesome fighter.
