Almost 10 years later and still coming back to this song. Don't know why but it feels like home.
Some of their best performances are impromptu studio recordings like this. Such awesome originality, remember to love!
Listening to this today may 14th Mothers Day 2023 ❤️
Cheryl Waters is such an awesome host. She's always so appreciative of the bands and is truly in it for the joy of music and not just money. I love it when she hosts. She's fantastic.
I love this song and you kids!
This song sticks in my head even 8 years later, still amazing. This tempo is better than the album version I wish he went through all the verses, "But here’s a song, for what it’s worth Mother, I’m sorry I ignored you - I can’t afford to anymore;" is probably the most powerful line in this song, I wonder why he left it out. Also "It was you and I, after all, Quietly gardening my dreams" is still one of the greatest lines I've ever heard in a song.
Simply beautiful chokes me up every time

რა დროს გავატარებდი სატირალში?
Correct me if I am wrong but this song doesn't feature on any albums.
Please don’t divide your genius together!
Does he say 'take for granted' or 'take for granite'?

Kinda hard to tell for sure, but I've heard plenty of people say "granite" instead of "granted". Has always amused me.

it's both, it's the play on words right?
