"When people wear a suit, apart from looking better, , it gives them another edge to their important meetings, or their first dates, or dinner dates." How true. The care put into crafting suits or any other fine clothes really speaks about the dignity of our body and, in turn, makes us aware of *some* of our value.

Dear Sir Sexton,my mother was one of the most beautiful dressmakers/seamstresses you ever were to meet. Our coats were excuisite, and always with a matching hat.She made gloves,as well out of kidskin and lined them. Not only could she sew,but was equally talented in knitting, and all forms of needlework. The last item made for me was a panne velvet dress (The very old YARDAGE coming out of a cedar chest from grandmother),that was the color of a fawn. The collar was a Peter pan style, lined with cream silk, and the sleeves were leg of mutton...lol...and the bodice fitted, but slightly flared. All lined .I wore this with cream stockings and chocolate coloured small heels.marion my mother would have adored you!

Edward Smith was a Saville Row Tailor. Edward went to University, where he studied Physics. When he Graduated, he quit Tailoring and joined the British Royal Navy. As a Physicist he was Appointed as an Officer, as a Man of Short Stature, he was posted to Submarine Service, aboard a British Nuclear Submarine. His job was to look after the Onboard Nuclear Reactor. British Nuclear Submarines could be at Sea for Months on end. And Edward needed something to occupy his Off Duty Hours. When Edward Reported aboard, he always did so with Two Bolts of Cloth. At the end of his Deployment, himself and another Officer, were able to leave the Submarine with Brand New Saville Row Suits.

I have just today purchased a gold collar pin from Edward Sexton. The pin is handmade in Hatton Garden by jeweller Toby McLellan. Every Gentleman should have a quality collar pin in his armoury along with cufflinks & a Swiss watch. I believe that if you are in a room full of 'suits', the chances are you will be the only person wearing a collar pin; it will elevate your tie (and you,) above every one else & will induce a severe case of 'collar envy'. Women have an uncanny eye for detail...they will pick up on the fact that you try...but not too hard! This will be an heirloom piece that will be handed down to my Son along with the aforementioned cufflinks & watch.

Recently I got a couple of tailor made suits and they were much better than off the rack but I d rather dress more comfortably and make more of an effort in the gym to gain that manly alpha poise that no suit can replace.
