It doesn't matter which ever programming language you start with, it is better you start with the latest technology instead of learning these obsolete technologies like C, C++ and java. However java is still one of the most powerful and persisting language until date you can directly go with that as well no issues. Now if you are searching for a job its better to start with the technology that is currently running in the IT market.

To learn fundamentals of programming I sincerely prefer you to take up Java, coz that's certainly a life saver and base programming language to learn new technologies. Initially it feels difficult to learn but as time passes, your skill will enhance in it provided you sincerely work on it. There are many great videos available on KZread for Core Java Tutorials and also you will find many project blogs on Google and also video tutorial projects on youtube
