Singing was her life, her passion. She always said she would sing till the end . I'm French, been listening to her since my teens, still do at almost 54 yo and will always do till the end. I love her sooo much. i played her songs with my accordion all my youth in the subway, bars etc...in Paris.

L'Amour, la Passion, le drame et la tragédie. Edith est épique, elle qui ne supportait pas la foule, ôde à l'ironie.. Reste l'indicible, elle, sa voix et son Ame. Je suis damné à l'écoute de son chant.. Merci!

I used to hear to La Vie en Rose and Padam Padam when I was a kid when my mom and dad plays their music and I loved it. I wasn't aware who the singer was. Until I met my girlfriend last 2009. She used to tell me stories about the great singer Edith Piaf. And she hummed La Vie en Rose then suddenly I had flashback of my past. I told her I know that song. It was a great discovery. From thereof I just love Edith Piaf and really appreciate her music. Such a great and legendary singer.

She's actually making so much effort in this live, thanks this is not one of these where she fell on scene. But her death is nothing in comparison to her legacy...
