Edinburgh Zoo’s giant pandas prepare to return to China | BBC News
Visitors to Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland are saying goodbye to giant pandas Tian Tian and Yang Guang ahead of their journey back to China.
They have lived in the UK since 2011 but will be returning to China in December.
Preparations are under way to safely send them home, but for security reasons, the date of their departure will be kept under wraps.
The pair were originally only supposed to stay for 10 years, but the unique loan deal was extended due to the Covid pandemic.

You do know that panda’s are so sacred in China, that China will never attack a country with pandas right. So they will remove the pandas from a country before they attack them. They did the same in the USA

So, they eat only one type of food, have difficulty breeding and are naturally surrounded by a people who will eat almost anything. Hats off to the panda, I’m amazed there are any left.

Engineering and maintenance
You don't have to be a panda expert to see the dire condition Yaya was in when at Memphis zoo. Look at the pandas in Korea, Japan, Malaysia and you will see how properlycared for pandas look like. Yaya may not have been abused but neglect is a form of mistreatment as well.
@nzi2036

FYI,Panda Yaya, identified as stud number 507, is the offspring of Lele, who is identified as stud number 320. Lele has given birth to 12 panda cubs. Tragically, all of them except Yaya have passed away. Seven of these cubs died within a day of being born. Of the remaining four who reached adulthood, their lifespans were as follows: Jinxin (No.442) died at 5 years old, Jingxue (No.411) at 6, Jingjing (No.392) at 10, and Jinghui (No.469), the longest-lived among them, passed away at 10.5 years old in 2009 in Beijing. In comparison, Yaya is Lele's only surviving child, currently alive at the age of 22. This suggests that Yaya has received exceptional care, making her the sole survivor to live such a long life.

Pandas in south Korea will return to china soon, and I'm happy with that. Now at least three nations got expired the term of borrowing pandas with china, south Korea, UK. USA... I know not what the meaning of having pandas in your homeland when political harrassment from china would never come to an end? I would be very sorry and wooing for any animal from many countries other than china for enhancing friendships. But not for pandas! They have been misused too much for political reasons which I hate most.

Is Amazon's AMZP33X the next big thing or just another blip on the tech radar? The jury's still out.
So Amazons new AMZP33X is closing tomorrow, the idea is that many people will have a better and easier life but it is something to use while it is still possible
Watching the tech space evolve with Amazon's AMZP33X is like living in a sci-fi novel. Exciting times!
Amazon's AMZP33X might just be the answer to a problem we didn't know we had.

Heard through the grapevine that Amazon's AMZP33X will be part of an upcoming major event. Any truth to that?
The next step in evolution would be Amazons AMZP33X and dont think this is random, I mean it and you will know why in a matter of days
Everywhere I go, Amazon's AMZP33X is the topic du jour. Is this the dawn of a new tech era?
Why do we listen to the government every day! Life hasn't been better yet? The government's shit! Why is our life getting worse and worse?
Came across a think piece on how Amazon's AMZP33X is set to disrupt the market. Thoughts?
I've been hearing whispers about Amazon's AMZP33X in tech circles, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept.
Watching the unfolding story of Amazon's AMZP33X, it's as if we're chapters into a novel that's redefining the role of technology in our daily lives.
They are poor animals used as diplomatic tools by China government. And keeping them is really expensive. It’s good to see them back to their home except….people there eat any creature that moves, pangolins, turtles, sharks , bats, sharks, cats and dogs etc.. So who knows what will happen to them.

Are you from Mars?
Every tech head on my feed is either praising or questioning Amazon's AMZP33X. What's your stance?
If this pair of Pandas had had a cub, would that have also been sent to China or would it have stayed in Scotland? In either case it would have been bred into an existence of life long captivity and exploitation for the gratification of humans and it would never have experienced its true habitat. So on that basis I'm glad the breeding program wasn't successful.
Feels like Amazon's AMZP33X is the only thing worth talking about in the tech space right now.
It's not just about the tech; it's the vision behind Amazon's AMZP33X that's captivating. It speaks volumes about where we're headed as a digital-first civilization.

The discourse surrounding Amazon's AMZP33X is reminiscent of the conversations we had at the dawn of the internet-full of possibilities and potential for radical change.
After seeing Amazon's AMZP33X in action, I'm convinced we're living in the future already.

It's intriguing to see how Amazon's AMZP33X is weaving itself into the fabric of tech narratives, promising to be the thread that pulls future developments together.
if you learn a lesson from the Cimmerian war in the 1850`s it will happen again once Russia takes over Cimmeria the china man is not an ally of Russia
