This performance is still tame. They have this tendency to jump up in the air and land flat on their backs or on their backsides. I would be winded, my spine and hips crushed and end up with a foncussion😅😅. They also make these scary faces like the Maori from New Zeeland. And this is purely for intimidation. I would run into the hills screaming, but its so cool to see how much of this dance is incorporated into modern hip hop and breakdancing

KaNongo = KaChonco = KaNkukhu = KaKongo or Nkonkoni or Nkwenkweni = Luthuli or Ntuli (South Africa) or Ituri (Central Africa) or Toure (West Africa) = Elephant people or Lunda or Jobe or Ndlovu or Njobvu or Ndau or Ndzau or Nyawo or Ilunga or Mlawu or Jehu or Jahu or Njeru or Seru or Zuru or Nzori or Wasoulou or AmaZulu. @@selendriamuganogo7077 There's no such that your name is something made up. Every thought comes from something. Humans were not made to think for themselves but to exercise their will to choose a path back to heaven. You see Zulu means Heaven. That is where we are from and that is where we are supposed to get back to. In Kiswahili, Zulu is Mbinguni and we call ourselves Ngunis or Abenguni in South Africa. So, your thought came straight from heaven. You just need to cultivate the hearing of the things of heaven so that you can also be called a Son of God. There is no sex or gender in heaven so Son of God applies to both men and women. If I were you I would change my real name to this one here. Will make it easier for you when you move to Ghana. Godspeed.

Break Dance Did not come From This. Remember African Americans Were Never Allowed To Practice African Culture Nor Were Slave Allowed To Speak Any African Language. So African Americans Had Within Their Souls The Natural Rhythm. Therefore African Americans Began A Culture Within America Of Their Own. That Is The Sound Of America. Minstrel... Gospel..... Blues. Rock and Roll Jazz........zedeco. . Rapp. . Hip Hop.... All This Was Started By .African Americans. Now Its Copied All Over The World. Especially. Jazz. Rock&Roll. And Hip Hop. This Is Black Created Music and Dance . Jazz Is A Sophisticated Array Of Sound. Improvisation Implemented By The African American. Then Studied And Copied By Whites. As Most Black Music In America Was. Blacks Were Not Given Credit For Their Music When It Came Out. America Was Throughly Racist Back In The Day. 20's 30's 40's 50's 60's 70's Rap Started In The Late 70's. Now It's Copied By Other Races All Over The World Just Like Jazz and Blues. African American Art Form Jazz.

@@marcellashabazz2542I beg to differ. Africa Bambaata started the culture if Hip-hop and called his followers Mighty Zulu Nation. One of the spins in breakdancing is called a Zulu spin. He watched a movie called Zulu about another Zulu warrior named Bambaatha. He was living amongst gangs in the Bronx and used the dances and battle mentality of the Zulus to create hip hop dancing. It was used to diffuse tension amongst rival gangs. Hiphop and breakdancing is not so old. Go and research the origin. Hip-hop and breakdancing wasn't even what you see today. From the US other countries soon followed and incorporated their local dances into it and the more they battles against each other the more they copied each others moves. At one stage you could clearly identify a dancers country of origin or the country style that influended his dancing by looking at the way he danced. Nowadays dancers copy the best moves. Dances that greatly influenced breaking is Russian Cossack dancing, Brazilian Capoeira taken to Brazil by Angolan slaves and as is clearly seen Zulu war dancing. Hip-hop dancing and breaking was created in the 70's. By then people travelled and had video footage of dancing. So breakdancing cannot be a dance created purely from the soulsof African Americans if there are tribes doing exactly the same moves for centuries. Even the beats are tribal. The culture of dancing in a circle and chanting is tribal. The intimidating faces made are tribal. Maori from Nieu Zeeland and Zulus does it. Those summersaults and windmills you see in Zulu dancing and Capoeira is copied by bboys and hip hop dancers. The circling is even copied from Native American dancing. So as much as you would want to claim that this one is made in America its not. It's very obviously sampled by African Americans and its all good, because the ones who created it acknowledge the origins. Laurent from the French New Style Hip-hop dance duo Les Twins and winners of the World of Dance competition is renowned in the dance scene and on Beyoncé's dance videos for his splits. He tends to jump in the air and land in a split or even jump from heights and land in a split. If you watch South African Jinge dancing they do exactly the same splits. No they didn't copy African Americans. They copy their ancestors. Dancing is as old as time and Africa has some of the oldest tribes dancing in exactly the same way as they did ages ago. Every dance African Americans does can be traced back to some tribe in Africa. Maybe not something you are willing to accept, but its very true. Africans can even prove tha the origin of hip-hop music and beats are in fact African. It's all documented online. The amazing thing is to experience it first hand in person. I hope that one day you have the privilege.

If you study ancient tribal instruments made by indigenous people and the music they made from it you will be shocked to find how sophisticated it is. Drums, flutes, string instruments, tambourine. Have you seen African people worshipping, singing. Dancing in the spirit as as old and as Africa as can come.Rapping? Over here its called praise si going. Reciting poems to music especially drum beats. Beats sampled by African Americans from African drum beats. Unfortunately you are disconnecting yourself from the richest heritage and history you could draw from. You might not have been allowed to keep the language just like our people were often forced to speak the Colonizers languages such as Portugues, English, French and Dutch. But if there's something they couldn't take from you its the way to move and the way to dance and the way to sing. Oftentimes I consider the atrocities of the past. And then I wonder what is worse. Being forcefully removed from the country of your origin to be treated as slaves or to be enslaved on home soil. This dance is from the Real Mighty Zulu Nation. A man who swore never to enslaved or imprisoned by anyone. The training of his warriors was brutal. But for his people it meant that until, today they own their kingdom in the hills. No wonder they could inspire African men looking for and identity and ways to help their fellows get rid of frustrations and anger that caused them to kill each other many miles from this soil and centuries after. I thank my people for their respect and love for their heritage and cultures to have preserved it until now for future generations to come. I do not take away from what the African American people have achieved in a foreign land. In respect them for surviving through years of struggle. But the origins of their greatness is not disconnected from this beautiful continent. I hope and pray that the strings to the past might be reconnected for you

Women usually don't perform war dances. But it's not forbidden to them by any means. It's just not commonly done. Professional dance troupes prefer to have both men and women probably for reasons of not living 2000 years ago. South Africa is in the 21st century afterall. Women doing those dances WASN'T really done, but cus there's no rule against it and SA is a free country, they participate in modern times often enough
