Great video content but maybe slow down the editing? I found it pretty difficult to follow. Felt like one long intro. Sorry, I hate being mean. I'm visiting Edinburgh soon so i'll def check out some of these places.

You know when Billy Madison is trying to learn French, and he says, ”slow down?” That’s me this whole video. Slooow dooown.

It's such a shame, that you jump so fast around in both pictures and the places you visit. I always LOVED your videos, but I don't feel like you get any chance to see what you are having in the different places or where you even are - it just goes too fast and happens in too much of a rush. 💚

yep, the old format was better. these 2-second cuts don't do the spots or the food any favors, impossible to follow.

Wow, lads ! You always find, or get told, about the best places to eat. And drink. There is no other channel on You Tube which takes us to such exciting bars, cafes, restaurants, hotels, like you guys . The quality and presentation of the food and drinks are so intensely spectacular, that watching your video, like the MOTO restaurant, is almost unbearable. In a good way ! My brother and his partner live in England, and I'm going to tell him to watch this video and get out to Edinburgh quick smart. Where's our friend Big Lou ? We need another cameo from the big guy. All the best, lads ! Another sparking food odyssey which TopJaw delivers better than anyone !

yeah problem with all these videos is that slowly but surely, Edinburgh is becoming a city that can no longer be enjoyed by its residents. All the "cute" pubs that were quiet and local, are now filled with tourists, restaurants can't be booked and the locals get shunted out. It's bad enough during the festival, lets not extend it to the rest of the bloody year!

@@1061shrink1061 I live in Leith, there has been a lot of gentrification in the last decade and a half, but there are still loads of great local pubs. I regularly drink in Robbies, The Alhambra, The Harp and it’s all local Leithers there.

Loved this video! I did my MA in Edinburgh in 2019/2020 and it was cooooooooold. That's what I remember of it. The city is a beautiful open air museum.

OMG - I swear you guys are mind readers!! Your vids always appear before my planned trips to the various cities. No need for me to spend hours researching restaurants, bars and hotels. I can't recommend The Palmerston enough. Food wise, definitely the highlight of my trip to Edinburgh last year.

The Balmoral is exquisite.

Terrific list again lads but you did miss out on a few faves! Scran & Scally is Tom Kitchin's cracking casual pub. There's also Michael's and their sister restaurants, absolutely phenomenal and just oozing with love. Drinkswise, The Spence bar at Gleneagles Townhouse, Panda & Sons and of course the legendary Hoot The Redeemer.

Some of my favourite places and a couple of new spots too. You should try Eòrna next time you are up.

I went to Edinburgh the day before this new video came out, sadly! Makar’s and Cairngorm Coffee are still great though. I suppose I just have a reason to go back now. Also, love the pacing guys, didn’t think it was too fast!

Long time listener, not a big commenter.. I know you can't please them all, but keep the short and snappy edits for Instagram. I used to love watching you guys go in-depth on the food and places you visited. The first 5 minutes felt like I skipped an intro or something? You're barely even showing the food you eat in these videos. You're not showing off the food in these places like you used to. Your videos are giving TripAdvisor vibez now. "Top 10 places to eat in XYZ" Short and not sweet, lack of content. Hope you bring back the old school ToppyJaw. Thanks.

I met Lloyd from the Palmerston a handful of times, 3/4 years ago. He still comes to mind as the worst bloke I’ve ever encountered, and I was mugged once.

There is so much more content you could have squeezed out of these places haha the pace is too fast

I'm not a fan of the hardcoded subs, and the frickin' quick cuts..........slow down guys!

The hard cringe at the "little design company" - so belittling. Can't imagine that being said to a bloke.

Ugh! I love your content and have watched you for years, but this entire episode felt like a long “short” or an opening monologue. It was so hard to follow. Did NOT like this format.

beatnick is great, but it is far from the best coffee shop in Edinburgh! and thats Kays bar ruined now! every KZread tourist in the world will be in there by this time next week! Can we please stop turning Edinburgh into some kind of Disneyland for tourists!
