The Edifier GX07 true wireless earbuds were designed with hardcore gamers in mind. Low latency combined with RGB lights and a futuristic look can make these buds appealing to anyone though. And there are other great features too that you can benefit from during every day casual use.

I'm glad you reviewed these. I was wondering how they compared to the neobuds (which I have already). I'm sure they are very nice gaming buds, very eye catching, and unique as well but for music I'll stick with the neobuds. Neobuds also has a gaming mode and, although this one is supposed to be better, I'd still take the neobuds. Otherwise, I think there are still much cheaper gaming buds that are advertised to have even lower latency (45 ms) like the Tozo G1 or QCY G1 but, in turn, they may or may not be on par on sound quality with the Edifier Gx07. Thanks for another awesome review, Andy! 👍

I’d take the Neobuds Pro over these no doubt. To me, personally, low latency is not a priority, sound quality on the other hand is important to me.

I agree. Sound quality is my priority, as well but even better if I can have the best of both worlds. 😁

You’re absolutely right Philip! My mistake, sorry about that. But I still feel like the Soundcore app has a more comprehensive EQ feature

Ah yes. Gaming earbuds. And of course they come with LED's to waste the already limited battery life. If there are two places where i do not tolerate LED's wasting battery it's earbuds and smartphones. Earbuds more so because if they are in ear the user cant even see the LED's. Same gimmick as LED's on gaming monitors (at the back of all places). I consider myself a gamer but there are way too many compromises here. How about some manufacturer actually make compact earbuds with earfins (ears can get sweaty during gaming) with all advanced codecs on onboard like AptX LL/Adaptive and LHDC/LDAC. Instead of stupid LED's and a case that looks like it's one fall away from being broken with those flappy lids. Sorry for the rant. Nothing against you Andy. Your reviews are always great and i look forward to new earbuds using newer chips inside that improve all aspects of the buds.

I understand your frustration, believe me. I’d rather have fins or good touch controls instead of LEDs as well. However, the LED can be switched off so it won’t drain the battery of the buds at all. I like the fact that we got options there.
