I bounced back to a 7 month old video, but I'm sure more current videos will show up from now on
JBLs are pure nightmare... Sound quality is terrible, they fell off from head all the time, and it's almost not possible to use touch controls, it just doesn't work as it should... I got rid of them after the first, comepletely unsuccesful try.
It's crazy how much is scene has changed since you made this video.
You sound a little biased but it's your opinion. What I take away is they have a better IP rating which would be expected for Sunnto . Bone conduction sounds are particularly dependent on the users hearing. I'll also give it a plus for the extra two hours of time but a minus for the charging device. Try the Shokz opencom for 16 hours and better microphone.
Don't get your hopes up by watching these paid videos and product trailers, don't get excited, we're not working on phonology or acoustics, but it's not worth the money. I switched to Samsung Buds but it's not worth it, go for Sennheiser or Sony, Jabra.
Great video I need new ear buds for my Samsung phone I also have a Samsung watch so was thinking the Samsung buds pro but I hear the sound is not great on calls .Great to videos made in Ireland 🇮🇪

I just got myself the new bose open airpods. Do you have any experience with binaural sounds and ear pods?
Wish you had covered their warranty. I have gone through two sets of open run. Maybe the coating will stay on with ip67.
My Openrock X order arrived two days early and I have to tell you lad, these cans are bloody good. I'm not convinced they're better than the Cleer but I'll let you be the judge of that lad.
do someone else also missing one of smallest earpads? in my (NEW) jbl reflect flow pro box was only 1 smallest size earpad..
I was torn about which headphones to buy for awhile. Soo many to choose from. In the end, the reviews for 1More were really strong. So i went with the 1More, and i must say, they are legit. Bass is booming, ear cups are comfy, and battery/charging is fast.
Great comparison of bone conduction headphones however I'm confused....do these headphones outperform the Shokz/Aftershokz? Thanks again for your due diligence.
please benchmark all of them against raw microphone sound from a good microphone and against the benchmark at the current time. apparently the best call quality one is the huawei freebuds pro3

I haven't tested either of those two buds unfortunately...
A few days ago I bought some Bose Open Ultra and I have a small problem with them. When starting a sound, a sound like "ssssss" is heard in the background and when the sound ends it continues for a few seconds until it turns off completely
These Bose are awesome, they don’t interfere with glasses or a cycling helmet, plus they are legal for cycling since they don’t go in your ears. As far as sound quality, it’s more like listening to a radio at the beach, you can hear the sounds around you.
Recently got these and I absolutely love them. Sadly I did have to get some 3rd party tips as the stock ones would inevitably fall out. (My ears do get sweaty) Since then they've been my favorite earbuds and headphones I've owned.

Why in the world would you want to wear ear hooks...comfort and sound quality should be number 1 to open ear buds. There is no good comparison. Definitely dont buy them to talk on the phone.
Do you know if it's possible to control headphone features with Suunto watch in case that you will not want to have phone with you? At Suunto's web pages I didn't find anything that would indicate that to be possible. Also do you know if it's possible to connect headphones to smart watch (Suunto 7 or other manufacturers watch) to play music from it? Or is the phone only available source for music?

Tried many open ear designs from Shokz, Oladance and Sony over the years. Bose Ultra Open earbuds are by far the best wrt fit, sound quality and awareness of your environment. The downside is that they are very expensive. Great for running. (Disclosure, I am not paid or motivated to recommend Bose. I am just an amateur running with atypical ears who has struggled for years with earbuds and their fit. If my experience can help others to find a good running earbud, then that is my reward)
The Bose are good but I ended up returning them...

@@AndysTechTone Agreed. Shokz is giving up market share in both their primary product lines. I think I know what that's a recipe for.
I'm going to actually take the plunge lad. I'm in the market for new bone conduction as my Apex are dying.

when I want to buy some earbuds, I always watch your videos. I have the Bose quite comfort, but I want to buy another one, which one do you recommend me between the following ones, please?: 1- Mater and dinamics Mw07 2- Bowers and wilkins PI5 3- Bose sounds sport free 7- Jabra 65t Considering they must have good bass and noise cancelling. I would appreciate your help, thanks.
Both the PI5 and the M&D have great bass, between the two I'd pick the MW07

How do you think this compare with the realme buds 5 pro?
Never used those buds so not sure, sorry...
My Openrock X literally just shipped this morning. Have you seen or heard anything about them lad? Hella not much news about these on KZread or anywhere else for that matter which makes me a little nervous given that manufacturers usually send out review units prior to end users getting them. 😶
I've heard about those but haven't had a chance to test the buds. Looks like an interesting set though!

Soundcore Sport X20 ????????
Just came out and the X20 is neither open-ear nor it is premium, so it doesn't fit the bill. That said I'd love to test those at some stage...
Are they waterproof?
IP55 rated which means that you cannot submerge them under water but a splash of water, some sweat or rain should be okay
I see you're using AKG 371. How do these headphones work with UNO?
Pretty well, it all sounds fast, clean and punchy enough
