    Thank you for teaching with such a gentle manner, slow enough that I get it. I've been beading for years but wanted to learn a new edging and you gave me a couple. Thanks.

    That is so awesome! I'm happy I can help. I had so many instances where I didn't have anyone to help me. I just had to fumble through it. So I understand the need for guidance. Happy beading!

    I love this! Great tutorial. But how do I hide my knots if I run out of thread and I'm not finished with the edging? I never know how to do this.

    Osiyo Mona, I was wondering how you gauge how you peice your items for sale? I've always bartered, but I'm making beadwork for someone who doesn't have anything I need. The item in question is a loop keychain. I appreciate any help you can give me. Wado.

    Hi Mona, I've been watching you're beading videos and I've run into some trouble. I'm in the middle of wrapping my edges and my needle broke but the thread is doubled up. What should I do/how do I fix this? Thank you btw! It's super helpful!

  • @monac.8890

    Cut thread close to needle..then tie a knot with thread close to edge. Then start with a new thread and needle

  • @monac.8890

    @monac.8890

    actually you can tie a know if you have a double thread. if for some reason your working with single thread, i would burn the thread down with a lighters and press quickly for it to melt to edge, then dab a bit of glue on area. then when your starting with new thread go back thru a few rows of beads to anchor everything.

    That medallion is so gorgeous!! Do you use hex beads or charlottes? The blue beads look like they might have facets, or maybe they are just sparkly.

  • @monac.8890

    2 ways. Directly beading on the bag or beading on a stiff felt like Pellon and attaching by sewing. Either way you'll have to sew onto bag for best results
