The best part about watching _The World's End_ the first time around was not knowing _anything_ about the story. Up until the bathroom scene I was expecting a completely different film, so naturally that's when I lost it!

Άλκης Δ. me too! I was watching it on like HBO and I was thinking well then this is just a sad movie about a guy who self destructs. Its funny but I assumed it was going in a dark direction and then boom and I was like holy shit an alien invasion movie

i did the same thing to my friends, showing them the film for the first time. they were making cracks about not wanting to watch a film about some middle aged guys on a pub crawl the whole time and then the bathroom scene came and BOY THEY FELT FOOLISH

+zombiesnyder13 That's the dark side of the whole movie universe thing. Individual ideas get scraped for universe continuity and forshadowing for other movies. The same thing happened to Iron Man 2. Just a big ad fpr the Avengers.

Wizard Of Hue Still Jon Favreau. But Disney wanted Iron Man 2 to be a big Avengers commercial. That's why we cut away from Mickey Rourke going crazy to Sam Jackson doing nothing.

***** ah okay. Because I knew it was a big ad and I don't watch too many films the only MCU films I've seen is Iron man avengers (just the first one) guardians of the galaxy and Civil war I wanted to see the big one (avengers) and the ones are different from the hundreds of marvel movies that are made (GOTG). I saw Iron man because at the time it was one or those occasions where a superhero movie was made. I enjoyed the ones I've seen even though civil war had a shit plot it's humour was good.

Wizard Of Hue Almost the same, but I got dragged into Iron Man 2 and Thor 2. I will see Dr. Strange if it's good but I care more for the last few original flicks we get. Swiss Army Man will be released in my area in October, can't wait.

Had to take it off as some stupid issue with copyright..daft really as its the film clips that theyve got the hump with, there all on youtube anyway we have all seen the film we have got the dvd or blueray so its nothing none of us have not seen and you can watch this q&a for free on itunes anyway. what a load of fussing about..Rich Knight
