I was doing the Mata Mata competition map today and the main two characters that won were either edgar or bull. Bull disintegrated every edgar that came remotely close, which was all the time because the map throws you on springs and traps you in one area of the map that if you did have a special to destroy walls or go past them, you would die almost immediatelyfrom the gas. Edgars would go in circles or bulls open a safety zone for whoever wasn't slaughtered. It was an excellent source for trophies though.

Edgar's voicelines are me whenever a enemy kills me and is toxic "Wow you are so good" (he says something like that) Epix video btw

I think Shelly is a waaaay bigger threat to Edgar than bull is; I pushed Edgar to 550 on day one and never died to a bull, but I was cautious, whereas with Shelly I probably only killed her 1/4 of the time

Yeah, bull and Jacky aren’t as hard to kill. If bull misses a lot of his ammo, he will probably die to Edgar as in a real game, both brawlers will be moving and bulls slow reload speed means he won’t be able to kill Edgar fast enough if he wastes his shots. Same goes with Darryl and Jacky who have a relatively slow reload speed. Much bigger threats to Edgar are “the big three”: Shelly, primo, and stu. Shelly’s super destroys Edgar, primo has consistent damage health range gadgets and his super to consistently beat him, and stu can dash away. Brawlers like Otis Rosa or griff can beat him if they have their super, but the big three Edgar counters imo are the biggest threat. Sorry I wrote like a whole essay.

He's a strong brawler, but not overpowered, so I don't expect him to get nerfed that hard. A reload or unload speed nerf should do.

I think that for bull and Jacky, you can space your attack with the tried and true method of running away and attacking wile being chased. Edgar is capable of beating Jacky this way, but I haven’t had a chance to see how it works against bull. That said I’m pretty sure it would be similar.
