[Update] If you got a fully upgraded Blast Twin Spears M5, this mission becomes way less cumbersome: • EDF Earth Defense Forc... [/Update] If you want to farm DLC2-grade weapons, this is the place to go. This mission has up to 165 silver Betas, each dropping 2 or 3 items. Collect them by time, or you'll hit the display limit of 128 items, where enemies stop dropping more. There are 2 optional groups of 10 silvers each, hidden at the bridge and on a mountain close by. You can activate them right away for faster clearance or in the end to reduce pressure. The shown variant is not the fastest, I went more for safety.
Beating this mission is quite easy with all classes, IF you can reach the 4 Nix (Nixs? Nixes? Nixiae?) at the beach alive.
Weapon levels you can expect to get here:
Easy & Normal: 26-32
Hard: 48-55
Hardest: 74-82
Inferno: 88-112 - no DLC 1 stuff!
As a byproduct, you'll get 100 to 180 red crates.

I've already been having fun boosting straight up and then using regulars mortars to clear out mobs directly beneath me, but maximizing the air time with a mech and then blasting out a super crusher mortar is some real King shit

It's a screen-clearer, but also a one-shot pony. 60 seconds reload, if fully upgraded... and it has a zoom instead of a jump.
