Keeping up with the Kaiju is the main problem for the Wing Diver (besides fitting her name into the youtube title). So I went with the EX Bird Core for +30% flight speed. With this, I should not have boosted that much as I did at the start. So execution is lacking a bit, but Barga survived, hence I had to use this run.
The Big Bang Lance is a fine alternative for Phalanx. Link below.

Actually in the games code for edf 5 there is an unused mutant Eurginus that is the same size as the red version of Eurginus but not red, and also has the same yellow glow like red version, so it probably got scrapped due to AI issues or problems with the attacks, they probably had an idea for a mutant arcules but it never made it into the codes, but I am guessing mutant arcules could spawn enemies from the explosive rock hatch
Recently discovered the phalanx. Ridiculous overpowered. When you can take down godzilla in 3 burst

Totally. Murders anything big. But kind of a power hog when trying to fight many small enemies.
