It is a great sounding chorus - I just wish they could repackage it in to a standard sized pedal. Same with the flanger. I went with the Boss CE-2 Waza and the MXR Mini Flanger so I could fit everything on my board.

I bought the EVH 5150 Chorus, Flanger, and Phase 90 because of this video. The flanger comes with little rubber feet on it. Making it difficult to get on a board flush. So I did what EVH would do...I removed the round little rubber feet and installed some new screws from the hardware store (the stock ones were too long) and boom! Its perfect now and sits flush with the board.

Word was that Ed used only the boost function on his old Echoplex, not the delay. MXR sells both features in two different pedals though, so the boost is what you'd want to try.

Makes me want to build a second pedalboard with just EVH pedals lol. I have the 5150 overdrive and it's way better then I ever hoped for and I run 5 different drive pedals on my board. It's definitely one of my top favorites if not the best one!

@@mikeholmed7029 I have 5 different drives pedals in line, one is an EVH 5150 has a built in noise gate. But it can interfere when setting up the Revv G8. I do lots of gain stacking. I also have an original Boss HM2, 40th anniversary Boss SD1, Zakk Wylde overdrive, and Ibanez Nu-tube screamer running in 18volt. Not in that order, and they all run through the loop of the G8 which is in loop 1 (non buffered) of the Swissthings.

What was the order those pedals were run? Looks like guitar into the wah and maybe the phaser, can’t really tell. Sounds like an excellent travel rig.

The phaser is as it should be, but the flanger is placed after the overdrive unlike how Eddie ran it hence why it doesn’t really sound right in my opinion. I have a old big box mxr flanger and it doesn’t sound like EVH unless it’s in front of all the gain

No Ed did not use the special block logo with script circuit it was a normal script phase 90.

EVH puts his name and Artwork on his own Phase 90 , Flanger , Overdrive , Chorus , Delay Pedals for the last 20 Years . But then Claims he didn't ever use Guitar 🎸 Pedals . He said his sound was all in his Fingers and hands , SMFH .

Edward said on many interviews it was all in the Fingers and he did not use Pedals ..
