I saw the Ringo Starr All Star Band in 2017 at a place that seats around 7000. Besides some single, empty seats scattered throughout the venue, it was pretty close to sold out.

Eddie gets the most brain-dead callers.

This was SIX MONTHS OUT. I bet the place was full if they curtained off half of it. Ringo always tours with a top notch lineup, it’s not just him it’s a bunch of people who have sold tens of millions of albums. The Toto guys etc, Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Roger Hodgson from Supertramp. They always sell out.

Why wasn't the caller more prepared FFS!?

He was, as Eddie says, not feeling well.

Ringo is still top-notch talent but I don't think he's ever played to 10,000 people, outside of the Bangladesh benefit in 71.

Zach Clayton Ringo isn’t that talented. He didn’t even play on most of the Beatles recorded tracks.

@@JB111-b4d where the hell you getting your facts from?? He absolutely played drums on everything, unless there was no drum track to begin with. If you're referring to the White Album, Paul played drums on two songs..that was it. The rest is Ringo. Be a hater all you want but he's all technique. Anybody can bang on a snare....

On the first Ringo tour in 1989, I caught him at Jones Beach Amphitheater on Long Island NY, it looked sold out or at least very close and holds 15,000.

Jeez.....that first caller has some SERIOUS low self esteem issues. Probably one of those people that doesn't look you in the eye when speaking.

He wasn’t feeling too terrific.

That caller is beyond annoying. Eddie had to drag the information out of him and it wasn't worth it. Maybe there weren't any other callers at the time.
