He is excellent!!!! I would love to meet him in person, there's nothing like a good few fireside stories in the winter months and the summer as well!! Eddie takes you to an amazing place in your imagination, fascinating!!!

I know people that have had him in person and said that he was wonderful. They couldn’t stop talking about him. He also has a book “Meeting The Other Crowd” with Carolyn Eve Green.

I can imagine a bunch of old people sitting near fireside in his house listening to his stories xD I would enjoy it. He is a great man from little I know about him

I enjoy listening to Eddie very much , I have spent a lovely evening listening to some of the stories of Ireland. I am Irish and hope some day to meet the man himself. I am often in his County, so some day I just might be lucky enough to find him.. If he is not to busy.. a chara Sean

Its not the sound lads - he isn't anywhere near the mic, is the problem!

avisionofsorrow sound "lads" responsibility to move it closer, its who ever did the recording fault, Eddie goes to these things tells stories, upheld his end, he doesn't know how well the mic is positioned. blame the sound lads, very easy to push mic nearer, failing that increase the gain

I think it could be that to them it sounds fine but on recording once all is done .. only then can you hear that the mic should've been closer. But to be honest, I really, really enjoy it all regardless of microphone's position. Edit: although with loud volume it seems mostly very much fine with me. But I watch it at night when everyone's asleep ^^

Not story teller. Truth teller. I shall not devulge but hence I am here. I moved from urban spalling in Dublin comutting town to rural Monaghan in 2008. Total contrasts,anyhow so many incidents to mention,,bad and one surreal good incident,,only months ago on line found out national fairy fort located across from my house,,stream divides,,over years to many incidents,,most positive,, extremely positive as respectfull to area. Energy always just seemed right. I worked in dept of justice,seen it all,,based in Dublin city,,,not easily twicked,,saying that on my kids life I once went priest for blessing. As jesus said,,many mansions.

@@joannbyrne182 yes stream seperates fort from house. Saying that place up road now and when passing i get dizzy and dog plays up. Across from it now is retreat called fatima cove and when i reach it i feel normal,,bloody strange. Seen alot around area which cant explain.

I could listen to Eddie all day, but the sound is so very poor in this recording.
