Suzy you are a beautiful person. And a great positive inspiration. I live in the uk and am 62. In the last couple of years, i discovered myself to be Agender. I was born with female body parts. So for 60 years was made ( by society, school etc) to feel like i had to be a female, solely because of the body parts i was born with. But when i was 60, i realised, for me, i don't identify as any gender. And that gives me so much peace. You being your true self, inspires me to be my true self. Nature bless you.

Eddie has been a trans activist. Eddie was the warm up act. He laid the groundwork for acceptance. As a straight woman with two young kids whose sexuality is currently an unknown, to me if not to themselves, I am only just waking up to how Eddie has prepared me to encourage my kids in whoever they are. Thank you for making me see the world a little more clearly... You are a wonderful, intelligent person. AND you look GREAT in that outfit😊

As a grandmother and mother of two boys I suggest you look at your child’s genitalia as they’re probably sexuality rather than letting them decide :-) there is a chance that one of your children might be gay but seeing at the proliferation of Katom going on these days it definitely surpasses the rather small percentage of children that are actually gay god bless as a grandmother just making a suggestionYou love them no matter what but if you’re straight embrace it embrace who they are as a person they’ll make their own decisions when they get to that point you don’t need to be asking him hey do you want a dress or a pair of pants hey do you like Barbie or do you like trucks just let them go their way try to stay out of it God bless America

@@ianlloyd6465 Who is encouraging anything? The essence of what Eddie said, and what the OP said in her comment, is "be yourself, don't be afraid of what others might think." Why do people insist on translating that into "This is how you are" when it's "Be who you want to be"?

  • @kenhollis6197

@@pennymiller2254 I think most people go by what their kids are as they are born. What the OP was getting at was that, if those kids feel they're something different from mainstream or prescribed expectations, they don't need to be (or shouldn't be) afraid of their parents.

However she presents, whatever her pronouns, she is a unique joy bringing treasure in this world. The haters are still going to hate. When will they realize that that's wasted energy. They could be doing something to make their own or others' lives better. Seriously, who would you rather be friends with, a gifted trans woman who's shared her creativity and positivity with the world, or a person who has nothing but bile and hate to spew about anyone not like themselves..... I fell in love (lust) with Eddie when she was playing a man on "The Riches". My bisexual daughter told me who she is. I've been laughing with her and admiring her ever since.

Actually, you might be happy to know that gender was not so black and white in ancient times.Circa 3000 BCE, The Sumerian goddess Inanna could change a person's gender at will, and many trans and non-binary people worked in her temples because they were considered sacred. Many human/hybrid animal apkallu (from the Akkadian period after Sumeria, but often mistakenly called "genies" in American museums) are depicted wearing both men and women's clothing at the same time to demonstrate how the gods embraced all of humanity, not one gender over another, even though androcentrism was on the increase at that time. I cover all this and more in my book, Pitilless Bronze: A Postpatriarchal Examination of Prepatriarchal Cultures.

Always loved Eddie, and find her perception about life interesting. I think she'd make an interesting politician, if I were still living in the UK, I'd definitely vote for Eddie.

@@jennyburnes-nm5kh It seems you've fixed it, but for some time Eddie (now Suzie, not sure how to spell it) switched up pronouns or said it didn't matter. I believe she has now settled on she/her. I know last year I was discussing her with a friend and we had each seen some relatively recent thing and one M. Izzard was saying "sometimes I"m in boy mode and sometimes I'm in girl mode" and in another she said "she." This is my long-winded way of saying, even if you had it wrong, you were aware that you might have been and took steps to fix it. And I would also vote for Eddie if I had the chance!

@@EricaGamet thanks so much for that, it means so much, I mean well but gett confused with the array of terms non-binary etc .. I think as long as we're aware & ask what they/he/she want to be called it's ok.🙈
