I love how in the beginning, it really was just Venom controlling Eddie's movements and taking out the baddies with his tentacles, but by the time the second round comes in and he gets flung to the floor, Eddie starts getting into it and actually starts fighting back as well. Notice the fighting style changes, it's not all just Venom's form covering over Eddie, he actually does things like kick the counter over and swing the stool and even throw blows. Sure, he has Venom's strength backing him up, but those moves are definitely all him.

0:33 he's so good here that you forget its literally him "fighting" himself irl. Take away the effects and everything and he looks like a psychopath.

Venom is not a pg13 character, it needed to have been rated r hopefully they fix this with carnage, also venom seemed childish to me.

The acting ability of Tom Hardy is really put to the test in the Venom movies because he literally has to talk to an imaginary voice in his head without actually hearing it.

I love how Venom was doing the fighting, using Eddie, who was just panicking the whole time. Like when Venom had grabbed the goon, Eddie holds up his hand, Venom’s fist forms, and the two of them are equally terrified and confused.

Venom protecting the dudes in their appartment when Eddie was getting shot. Venom is such a good guy and a big softie.

Dude Tom Hardy is like 70% of what makes this movie great. He absolutely loves playing Venom/Eddie, and he is having a BLAST on set and it's absolutely clear. If they chose anyone else to play Venom it wouldn't have worked out. Tom's physical performance is incredible

I loved this movie's take on Venom and Eddie. From the trailers I had been expecting something in the vain of Spawn, Eddie trying to do good while fighting to keep Venom's murderous instincts in check. While there was a little bit of that it was more of a buddy movie and they really made it work. And of course mad props to Tom Hardy for playing this part so well.

Love how accurate is Venom's ego just like in the comics. Venom is the weakest symbiote on Earth. Compare him to his offspring Carnage and specially Toxin. Venom and even Carnage are afraid of Toxin. But when it comes to versatility, Venom is the smartest symbiote. No wonder he became the strongest character in the whole marvel comics in a comic issue release.

Bro I loved Tom Hardy in the Venom movies, the way he acts all weird and weak is reasonable considering how he has almost no control or idea of what’s going on with his body as Venom takes control and is adjusting to Venom as a part of it, also Eddie would be confused and scared watching himself do all this since he can’t control or predict it, and the way he’s trying to focus on what’s going on on the outside and listening to Venoms voice makes him constantly confused, and he’s constantly anxious wondering what Venom is gonna make him do next so he waves his body around trying to keep what little of himself he still has under control

He's quite charming, and kept the show fun. I (think we all) knew how the hero vs. villain plot was going to unfold before the opening credits. I had no idea that Tom Hardy, as Eddy was going to do... those things, with _that_ much gusto. I wanted to at once, laugh, cringe, and tell him it's going to be alright when it's definitely not.

I think what really made this movie so good is it's an actually good example of a "Hero's Journey". Especially with the "rejection of the call" at the beginning. OVer a couple hours we see Eddie come to terms with his powers, his mission, and solve the conflict.

Eddie: "I'm so sorry about your friends." Eddie: *Kicks a dumbbell into a guys chest*

I like this version of venom much more it’s like the ps1 game. I couldn’t stand how in Spider-Man 3 he was pure evil .

The voice of Venom was exactly what I would have thought

I love how Venom makes Eddie hold something and Eddie immediately knows what to do next. Venom 2 was wholesome in a way, their friendship developed so much there.

Venom (2018) blew me away! Tom Hardy's portrayal of Eddie Brock and Venom was absolutely phenomenal. Seeing the symbiote come to life on the big screen was a thrill, and the dynamic between Eddie and Venom was pure entertainment. COME ON! We want this version of Eddie to enter the MCU already. Eddie's actor was awesome in this movie.

The charecter and brutal sound of Venom is outstanding.

Enjoy the fact that even though Eddie didn't want to fight through the symbiote he ended up kicking the butt of all the baddies and that was only 1% of it's power. Now I see why in the comics was such a formidable foe for Spider-man.

I seriously want a friend like venom.

The way he says "I'm so sorry about your friends" kills me every time Same with the "Why would we do that?"

I love the scenes where one of them is afraid portraying on Eddie's face, the look of otter fear like the yes you are no i'm not part here and in venom 2 when venom sees carnage for the first time and says he has to go have a great marriage....Tom face and involuntary movements of his hand are acted perfectly....these kinds of scenes are my favorite in Venom
