Any business out there will sue if someone makes unfounded comments which can damage your brand & business. Its normal. Frank Warren & Queenberry have been involved in many lawsuits & sued for similar reasons....aswell as being sued by his ex fighters cos he didnt pay them. Ruiz getting the shot against AJ was like him winning the lottery. AJ is a huge brand as is Fury . Its a much bigger fight and both sides have way more bargaining power than Ruiz did . So it's obvious it's likely gonna take longer to thrash out all details. If Fury really wanted the fight he'd just get in the gym and leave the business to the suits.

Good. Fury should fight the best to unify the belts. That is Usyk followed by Joyce and Wilder. AJ is like the England football team - only extreme English fans still think he is best in the world. To the rest of the world he is decent but not good enough to be world champion unless something changes radically. I personally think Fury shouldn't have given him the chance. Fighting AJ is a risk he doesn't need to take because a lucky punch could see Fury beaten and wasting his time on rematches. Usyk could easily get caught up in rematches or mandatory fights too. Fight an ok fighter like Charr (Hearn wouldn't exactly pair AJ with Wilder for 'warmup' fight in December) then Usyk. I'd like Fury to respect Usyk though given the Ukraine situation. I don't think trash talk sells this fight - its more about two characters and good technical boxers coming together. Let's see who's best.

Look at it from a promoters perspective. You've just signed your fighter to a mega 4 fight deal with dazn. Your job is much easier if your fighter is winning fights and not on a losing streak. The strategy for AJ should be to face wallin, ortiz, whyte and then wilder. That's a better strategy for his career than to face an almost unbeatable tyson fury in what would most likely be the last mega money fight of AJs career should he lose it. It doesn't matter who you believe, the whole saga is as boring as Fook, I am a boxing fan who wants to see fights, i'm not interested in the back n forth being played out on social media. Fan boys of both will always be blaming each others side, thats just the way it seems to be, but that doesn't get us anywhere either.
