My husband was traumatized by his ex when she was mentally I’ll and abused him. She got mad and stabbed him wanting to seriously hurt or kill him. He has had so much trauma and I was in an abusive relationship for years that left me and my children devastated and separated permanently. So much trauma And then finding that person who God put you together to help each other learn to love again and mend the soul. Knowing we would never physically harm each other or intentionally in anyway. These lyric’s definitely hit me different recently hearing them again.

This song doesn't just make me think of lost loves it also makes me think of friends and family I've lost. You'll look In the mirror over the years and see the differences. Not just in age but in your eyes. You can see the sparks..you can see the pain..you can see the determination and everything in between. Cherish it young ones, you can't stop the change as much as you can stop the sun from setting. As you grow older that list becomes long..they're all still with me. I think about them every day. You'll want to give up many times, but don't. Keep going. You'll be with them again. The road all leads to the same, we just get there different times.

This song feels like it was made after a tragic love story. A tragic failed, love story. I feel like sometimes the emptiness of a sad ending fills in more than just a typical happy ending, it feels more moving.

ive been in this situation once , like 3 weeks ago, im 13 btw, the only advice i can give you right now is to just accept it man.. just... you know, move on, its fine if she doesnt even notice you, from this, dont think that ur not good enough or that u cant do it, cus in reality, everyone is at least good at something, maybe ur good at drawing or just any talent, theres always somenone there for you, about 8 billion people to be exact. The thing im trying to point out is that just move on... alright, let this be something that changes you, dont let it get into you, i mean the important thing is that does she hate you?
