Dont think there's a doubt about that. Of course he loves his huge audience, but I don't doubt for a second that if he was given the oppotunity to perform in like a small pub where people wouldn't recognice him, he'd love to do that.

Ed Sheeran was turned down by many record companies because a ginger rapping with a guitar wasn't marketable! He now sells out stadium tours within tours! If there is any inspiration to work hard and chase your dreams, its defo Ed!!

Yeah. Ed is "performer" guy. Not some guy on red carpet 😂😂 He is so awkward on red carpet.

I don't know anyone who deserves the success he has had. Imagine being that young and having so much confidence and self belief that he actually asked the crowd to form a circle and sing a long with him. No one knew who he was but the energy was there. His soul spoke to them. He paid his dues doing this 7 days a week because he had a vision. God bless him. He changed the world. He now holds the record for the best selling touring act in history. By himself they said it was impossible to sell out arenas alone....no band...but then he came back and said I am gonna do stadiums alone. No band. And he sold them all out. Incredible story. I love that he isn't the cookie cutter pop star either. He wasn't the best looking but he had everything else. Truly remarkable!

he is possibly the biggest artist in the whole right now because he genuinely deserves it

I’m so happy i got to see him when he wasn’t this famous. I literally paid like 20€ or maybe even less for his gig, it’s crazy. I kinda miss those times because there’s something about small concerts that cannot be beaten by the stadium ones. And he also used to be very special to me since nobody from the people i knew listened to him back then. He was this little secret of mine. But i surely wish him all the best in life as well as in his career. He’s one of the few popular musicians that truly deserves the fame he’s got.

Not a fan of his type of music but there's no doubt he's talented and its always so pure and heart warming to see someone come from nothing and make it big.

You can see that he did 300+ gigs a year before (2009). Like the Beatles and Queen he crafted himself by just performing and practising. Beautiful.

I gotta say, I don't necessarily love the guy's music, but someone who plays guitar, has an actual voice and writes some of their own music is rare to come by on the radio

Patrick they're different, certainly, but the musicianship is definitely outstanding on both parts. Maybe Ed isn't as eccentric but his artistry is unique in a different fashion. In the end that's what makes them both embody music in a really cool way. Being different but being the same I mean.

Strangely got so emotional at 3:45 when everyone sang along to "You need me man I don't need you". He deserves every bit of success, such a wonderful artist and humble guy.

Many young people want to be famous but it’s hard work even with talent. Ed did more than a 1000 small gigs before he had a hit song and album.

Nah... he was born with a naturally good voice. Don’t be fooled by that old bad singing clip he shared. He was like 12 years old when he sang that. His voice hadn’t changed, it was something he grew into as he got older. His voice has such a beautiful natural tone and that’s not something you can teach. He taught himself how to properly (and impressively) sing but he had a good voice to begin with. You can hear it in other songs from when he was the same age. I get people find it inspirational to think that he started out tone deaf and taught himself to be an amazing singer but that’s not the case. There was a lot of natural ability there to begin with.

I love watching how engaging he is with the audience. Sometimes, large concerts aren't the most personally experiential but I feel like live music in a relatively small crowd makes some serious magic happen. Ed Sheeran is so capable of harnessing that magic and it's incredible to watch that here.

I had no idea he used to loop pedals and didn't have a touring band till I saw him live in 2018. My respect for his music tripled instantly when I saw that. He's amazing and this is super cool to see :)

On behalf of my fellow rhythm deaf people we don't realize it until people look at us weirdly and we realize noone else is clapping, ok!

Both Ed Sheeran and Glen Hansard are my two favorite artists because they are both artists that started off performing for peoplevon the streets and ended up becoming incredibly famous artists through they're pure, raw talent. Their stories are so similar in different ways and it makes me think that they are somehow connected.

I did not know this chap was homeless for 2 years. I'm not fond of his commercial music at all, but you know what, my respect for him has gone through the roof for what he has achieved from that hard time. Remarkable chap.

I feel like this must be something he really wishes he could still do. just go into a station and gather a small crowd that can just enjoy his music silently without really knowing who he is. Now he can barely leave his house without getting bum rushed by people

But you're kinda right too, it's not always that simple. Iv'e seen KZread video's of Ed Sheeran live and the crowd just doesn't shut up while Ed tries playing a song without screams and claps through the song which make it sound terrible. It's so cute seeing him trying to say shut the fuck up but in a friendly way and sadly no one listens. ❤💕
