In this video we have a little catch up. I talk about my recent holiday. How recovery has impacted me and how grateful I am for my progress. Then I explain my thoughts around our advent calendar this year. We then go on to film some content together for that :) overall it's a very chill video with recovery messages throughout, but also just some updates on my life for whoever might be interested!

    Your comment about feeling recovered in some parts of life but not others really resonated. I think that's how I've been feeling but wasn't able to articulate. And it has really been leading to frustration at the discrepancies and not being there overall, but i think your way of expressing it acknowledges that we are there at least in some areas,which feels better than just not being there full stop.

    I’m so glad to have helped you articulate this strange experience. You definitely deserve to feel proud of yourself and grateful for the parts of your recovery that are strong ❤ and you can take the lessons from that, and apply it to other areas. I know it’s frustrating, but it’s all an imperfect process. Sending love your way!

    Hi Meg I love your account thank you so much for everything you post! I am right now in recovery but quite far in and have been allowing myself to eat whatever I want whenever I want for a while now to go against my eating disorder, but I feel like it is at the stage where it is bad for my health because I’m eating so much “less nutritious food”. I’m not sure what to do in this situation 🤷‍♀️

    I would absolutely love to help you out, but unfortunately I’m not qualified in dietetics so I can’t advise ☹️ something I’ve found helpful is the “have what you want, add what you need mentality” so you hit your craving but then add in more nutritious food, but that’s just general concept. I’d recommend reaching out for support ❤

    Love your mug! A few people have recommended Liquid Talc to me for thighs when wearing shorts / skirts - apparently it's cheap from the Asda baby section, I've not tried it yet though. I remember your advent calendar from last year, it was brilliant! I think it'd work well with the series feature. I NEED those Nomo mint chocs!! Where did you find them? I loved the 'behind the scenes ' bits of this vid, looking forward to your next one! Xx

I’m very excited for the advent calendar as well ☺️ I got the NOMO chocs in Tesco and they’re honestly unreal 🤤 definitely try to get your hands on them xx
